He just entered my property and did the work and then left. It took this Yelp review to FINALLY get some answers. 6 months of me calling Russell's phone, business line and emails with NOT ONE RESPONSE to put a fire under his and DesignCo's feet. So yeah the roof isn't leaking as of now and hopefully it won't once the out of nowhere severe rain storms and occasional snow storm hits us here in Albuquerque. I was told that the front door overhang is not DesignCo's responsibility because they were not paid to repair or replace the 4x4 plywood. Even though it was damaged and replaced by a flimsy 1/4" 4x4 sheet when the had to replace the roof due to shotty workmanship. It rained during that time so the overhang was damaged from the inside out. But DesignCo claims they're not responsible because it wasn't part of the job to begin with but because of DesignCo it was damaged. I was told I was trying to get some freebies and that my roof is closer to 8 years old and not 5. I know it's 5 because I got the date from the pics I took during the installation of the first roof. So anyhow! Apparently my leak has been fixed but the 3 shades of gray, the front door overhang and the small triangular piece of facia. I'm Done! The overhang and facia I can replace myself. The 3 shades of gray and my roof looking older than the 2 neighbors who had their roofs replaced right after mine and still looking great. I'll just have to live with it! Would I recommend DesignCo for any type of roof work. NO! As far as the construction side of DesignCo? I have no idea so I won't say anything negative about their construction. All it took was 2 phone calls! 1 rom the guy to let me know he was coming to fix the leak, let us know it was done and a good bye. Second phone would have or should have been from Russell and or DesignCo notifying me that the gut came and did whatever. But NO! I had to make once a week calls and emails and I believe there were a few text for 6 months with NO response or replies and this Review wouldn't exist. Now I'm asked to remove it because they went beyond with their services. Which was another thing. Don't say you'll be there and never show up! This is what started all of this. So NO I will not remove my Review but have updated that the leak was supposedly repaired and I will not be asking for advice on how to Sue DesignCo.

Beware if you are seeking correct location of your utilities…read more We hired MT to locate our underground utilities to find an electrical break. They were on time and marked the utilities, estimating a break within 10 feet of their flagging. We hired a repair service to dig up the marked area to repair the break. Before they would begin they verified the marked location by MT. They disagreed with MT's flagging of our gas line, believing it was in the same area as the electric line. They re-marked the area and dug up my yard. The area where that MT marked my electric line correct, but the actual break was no where near where MT had indicated. It was incorrect by over 30 feet. The gas line that MT marked was completely wrong. If the repair contractor had dug where MT indicated we would have cut the gas line. I paid MT $270. Since their marked locations were wrong, I asked for a refund of 50% or $135. I agree they did the work, but it was wrong and frankly dangerous. MT responded they would send someone out to see the issue. I told them the trench was open that day and I could send photos. I also left their flagging so they would understand the issue. They declined to come when the utilities were exposed and said they'd come the following week. They never showed. They did not split the costs with me. The work was completed 1-25-24, in Santa Fe, NM. I have documented emails and receipts.

Last year they paved a whole complex parking lot and apparently a year later it wasn't good enough so they had to do it again. Yesterday they, were about 7 hours late, one employee complained that he was just in Santa Fe working for 16 hours and said that because they were behind now on this wasn't his fault. They also did a basic job and got tar everywhere on people's front patio slabs. If there was actual competition I'd say go somewhere else but there isn't so you're stuck with a horrible company run by owners who make false agreements /contracts. They constantly violate contracts and cancel appointments the day of. Horrible company. A bunch of greed
