I would recommend making an appointment (they got me in next day) and allowing them to have your car for the day if needed...that's just consumer courtesy. The facility is in a safe area. I walked to a nearby food truck food court and had some lunch while my car was being serviced. Most importantly, they are very knowledgeable on window tint regulation and laws. These guys put heat blocking tint on all the windows of my Sprinter. It's beautiful. And what a difference! Those giant windows turned my cab into a greenhouse, so I roasted in the sun in the southern US, and my phone regularly overheated. These guys were great, and the Rhino product works! I was recommended the shop by Damerow Ford after I purchased a brand new Ford Explorer, ST. I inquired about front window tinting and clear bra installation. Both were completed on time and at the time with a good result. However, a few months later, upon looking at some pictures of when I bought the car versus what it look like now I noticed that they did not re-install the front explorer logo on the hood. I contacted the shop and asked about them installing, and they verbally threw their hands in the air and told me to get bent, upon contacting a more qualified installer of clear bras I was informed that the proper technique is to cut out around the logo and install the clear bra around the logo. That seems like way too much work much easier to just take the logo off and never put it back on... Unfortunately, I would never come back to this business after contact him them and them telling me they could install one if I were to go purchase it. Turns out the logo they took off and disposed of was over $100. read more

Personally I am super analytic and when I decided to get my windows tinted in my car I per usual ended up creating an excel spreadsheet with prices, phone numbers, tint brands, and reviews. Like many others, my primary concern was price, and secondary quality, then brand ect of tint was last. The result of my research was the Auto Tint West was the most affordable, and the reviews were good so i finally ended my research and analysis and scheduled an appointment. The customer service was great. The owner John was incredible nice not to mention a great listener. I was very impressed with the quality of customer service, patience and quality of work. When In person for the appointment the guy greeted me by name and gave me a great evaluation of what he thinks I should do for tint percentage. Customer service is NOT what it used to be whatsoever! I made an appointment for today at 10:30am, I dropped it off at 10am. Was told it would be done around 1:30pm today. Showed up, my vehicle wasn't even touched and sitting in the same spot I left it. Their excuse was that they had dealership cars to work on from yesterday. The owner who rents out the building where they do tint said they don't even work on dealership cars and just said "sorry about that" ....... Like what's the REAL excuse? I made my appointment online and I also called to verify my appointment! They didn't even call me in those 3 hours to tell me they haven't even started or anything. I even paid for an uber to get home that costed me $13 then paid another $13 for an Uber to get back to this "business" just to see my vehicle wasn't even touched. Great place to get your windows tinted. I just bought a new Mercedes-Benz last night. The first thing I wanted to do was get the windows tinted. I called Auto Tint West and spoke with John. He was professional from the moment he answered the phone and all the way until I left. Told him how excited I was about the car and how I wanted to get the windows done as soon as possible. He squeezed me in within an hour of our call. When I got there he took the time to show me the different types of tint and explain the differences so that I could make the best choice possible. I setup a time about two weeks in advance to come in and have my cars windows tinted. The lady I spoke to said to be in at 9am sharp as they like to close up early on Saturday - understandable. I showed about 15 minutes early to be safe and waited until 9:35 (alongside someone else who apparently thought they would show up) until I finally went to another tint place. Why bother setting up an appointment for me if you have no plans on coming in? I would have appreciated at least a call to let me know. read more

I have a black Hyundai Sonata that gets incredibly hot when its 90+ degrees out. I was hoping to use window tint for basic privacy and heat reduction. John got back to me really fast with an online quote, and I was able to bring the car in the next day for tinting. John made several suggestions and recommendations, so I felt well-informed in making my decision. I chose the 35% tint all around. Installation cost $200 and was done in less than 2 hours. They have a waiting room with comfy couches and a TV, but I went and had lunch at the restaurant across the street.
