Sometimes going to a new salon can feel so anxiety-inducing, but every interaction I've had with the girls at Susan Jo's has been no less than stellar. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The clientele I've seen has ranged in age from toddlers to the elderly, and the girls knock every service out of the park. I've been a client for about a year and have seen them do lived-in color, vivids, pixies, extensions, Brazilian blow-outs, formal hairstyles, and the entire gamut of services and everyone always looks so great that I have hair envy for styles I wouldn't normally want for myself. I personally see Haley (usually with an assist from Abby) and she is the queen of lived-in, dimensional brunettes. She has been so patient with my constant need to change things up, while keeping my hair healthy. She always manages to clone my inspo pics, while also keeping my expectations realistic. She has never once been pushy about adding products or services, but always makes sure to educate me on how to maintain my color and style at home. I truly cannot recommend her (or any of the other girls) enough! Paige, the salon co-owner, clearly cares so much about creating an enjoyable salon experience. The ambience changes depending on who is there (they'll help match you to a stylist who fits your vibe!). They even send out a little survey before your appointment, so if you want a quiet appointment or want to get something off your chest and talk that day, they've got you. Sometimes it's quiet, sometimes it's more upbeat and lively, but the girls are always ready with a fun snack, signature drinks, eye masks, and the most amazing scalp massage at the shampoo bowl to make your appointment something you always look forward to. read more

Not only are they AMAZING at what they do (seriously, go check out their page) but it's also the perfect place to decompress with girl talk, snacks, and plenty of laughter at times. I love that they take their time and discuss what steps they would like to take for best out come and hair health! Mackenzie is my stylist but everyone is very nice and knowledgeable.
