Lisa (owner) said that my property manager gave her the wrong…read moreaddress, but I did give her very clear instructions on exactly where my building is located, including which corner in the intersection. My property manager said they gave her the correct address. I'll never know who was correct. Anyway. I booked for 3 hours x2 cleaners per Lisa's recommendation based on an empty property + square footage, number of bathrooms, etc. After 3 hours of cleaning (3.5H after scheduled start time), Lisa called to advise the cleaners need 2 more hours each based on the cleanliness level, bringing the price from $300 to $500. This felt like a bait-and-switch, given that it's an empty property and she had the specs. I had told her I was fine for them to keep cleaning, but she said I should go look at the property. So I got in my car and drove there, and saw that there was still more cleaning to do. I went to inspect the next day, as I was not available at the new finish time. I found 3 dead spiders, dirty doors, and dirty light switches, took pics of everything. I called Lisa to advise of the multiple short-comings with my overall experience. I sincerely tried to be respectful, but she kept interrupting me despite me saying multiple times, "I'm not finished, stop interrupting me." She then berated me--she actually yelled at me telling me I don't know how to talk to businesses after I told here I was looking for empathy. She yelled at me, "Don't you tell me how to feel!" which is not at all what I was trying to say, I even tried to apologize for how it came across, but I don't know if she heard my multiple "I'm sorries" because she kept interrupting me yelling at me. She told me multiple times that I was the one being emotional, despite that she wouldn't let me get a word in, which I realized after I hung up was complete gaslighting. Her solution was to send a cleaner back to the place and charge me for this. Not fix it for free, not a discount; charge me more money, since this was a "new area they didn't spend time on" and not a "fix like streaky mirrors." I did convince her to take 1 hour off the pay, and said that I will clean the mishaps myself, which she agreed to. I thought she'd discount me down to 4 hours instead of 5, but she said it'll be 9 hours instead of 10. Fine, I just want to get off the phone. I felt gas-lit the entire interaction, got no accountability, and she did not attempt to come up with a solution until I steered the conversation in that direction. I actually hesitated posting this for fear she'll call me and berate me again, but my family convinced me that this is important.

However, we are selling our condo and needed a "move out clean" as Simply Clean Maid Services called it. Unfortunately our experience with them was quite shady. When we hired them we were living in another town about 8 hour drive away, so we asked a family member to let the cleaners into our condo. We gave specific instructions to the cleaners as well as the family member of what we wanted cleaned and what we wanted left and not touched! We had left two bar chairs at our breakfast bar as staging furniture because the breakfast bar was our feature selling point in our condo! Well we came back into the city about two weeks or so after the cleaners were in our condo and to our surprise we were missing the two chairs, the window sills were NOT cleaned and the toilet also was not cleaned. I decided to give them a call to rectify the situation. BARB, (who may be the owner I am not sure) said she was told to throw out ALL furniture without our permission. They also mentioned that they dont clean "mildew" off window sills. Unfortunately this company has a lack of communication and it appears they only want your money for a half ass job! When scheduling this company, my husband was NOT told of what the company DID or DID NOT do. We were also NOT told that they require a $75 deposit. So when we were about to pay them (from out of town, we had NOT seen the half ass job snd the stolen chairs yet) Barb was in a big hurry to get her money and she made us give her he $75 deposit before they got to the condo. Which again, was not mentioned when booking her terrible service. BARB was very unapologetic and blamed our family member for "having no idea what was going on". Now you see, my husband and I were only a phone call or text away. They could have contaced us to VERIFY what we (as the customer) wanted done, as they were obviously unsure. BUT they did not call nor text, they assumed. They were very UN informative in the beginning never stating what they did and did not clean. My husband and I asked them to take out our garbage and they said "we do not remove garbage". It was to my surprise that they acually LEFT behind the comforters and pillows in a garbage bag AND also the bed mattress we left behind to use for sleeping on when we came back to the condo. When I asked her why she left everything else and only took our chairs, She claimed "she couldnt fit anything else into her car." In conclusion, We believe this company SIMPLY CLEAN MAID services/BARB stole our bar chairs for their own purposes as well as stole our money for a job that was NOT completed. If you want your personal things stolen please contact this company.

No mention that the price per hour differs if they choose to send a second person, essentially paid double for the two girls who showed up to clean. For the most part one of them stood around for moral support. Then it took them half an hour collectively to clean a set of blinds on my kitchen doors. They racked up the time. Never again and suggest you find a more credible company that won't simply scam you of your money.
