Check-in process was fast and friendly. We were set up with two beautiful, well-behaved horses in no time.

Highly recommend Echo Lake Stables. Friendly staff, nice horses, and scenic trails. My girlfriend and I did a 1-hour trail ride on Nov 14, 2021. John, our guide, lead the way through a well-maintained, wooded trail with some scenic views. I am a beginner rider but felt very comfortable with my horse and riding tips provided by John and the staff. Anyone can do this! Super fun time!!!

Thank you so much for fitting us in with effort, ease and warm hospitality today! We cannot wait to come back again in the Spring and Summer! Horses are so well taken care of and you can tell they are treated like kings and queens :-) Everyone was so nice and welcoming and they accommodated us with ease! If you are going to the Crystal Springs resorts in the area I highly recommend this barn over Legends (they were flat out rude and unaccomidating at Legends)! It's worth the 25 min drive and the real deal!

It was my first time riding a horse and it was incredible. It was very last minute and we got there right before their closing time but they were able to accommodate us. The tour guide Becky was very knowledgeable and had answers to every question that I had. I definitely would want to come back

Ok, let's play Wheel of Fortune....feel free to fill in the letter: BIG HORSES _AKE REALLY BIG SHI_S. I had the fortune of horseback riding on the biggest horse at the ranch (Tux). He was a former carriage horse and absolutely massive - he was more like a SUV amongst horses. He must have shat (yes it's the past tense of shit) or pissed every 15 minutes or so. It was 9 degrees when we started horseback riding. It was my first time horseback riding and I'm not sure what I expected - I just wish it was a bit more scenic (streams, rivers, and vistas) and less head-to-tail.

This is a great place for beginners. If you are an advanced rider, you may be bored, unless you go with a group of other advanced riders. The horses are essentially on auto pilot and need little to no actual steering. They will allow you to trot and canter if you know what you're doing. Tip: If you want to do that, show up early in the morning before the horses are tired from a full day of trails. If you're interested in seeing what the night rides are like, I made a video from ours on 7/26/14 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFeBlvwxgko The night ride is a fun group outing, but no matter what you will walk the whole time. The prices have gone up $5 for the first time in years, but the experience is the same. It's still a great value and the staff is very friendly.

Wow! This place is pretty amazing. We came out for the evening horseback riding and had loads of fun. We were mostly beginners but we hopped on some well tamed horses and rode for 1.5 hours on a guided wooded trail. To top that off it included a hayride that took us to a campfire for burgers, hotdogs and marshmallows. All for 70 bucks a person. The guides were super friendly and went out of the way for us to really enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.

Very nice and calm rides! Just wish you were able to free ride a little bit, and trot a little bit, because these trails are only walking.

I won't list all of them - just some highlights. My friend, who is not experienced, wanted to do this trail ride for our birthdays and we thought it would be fun. I've been on trail rides all over the world and know what to expect, and have never pulled out of a ride because I didn't feel safe until this place. I was the first person to be mounted and when the horse came out, I could see that the saddle was improperly placed too far back. I didn't say anything because it's not my place, but when I mounted, the girth was clearly too loose as the saddle started to slip. I told them that the girth was too loose and also that the saddle seemed to far back so Janet said let's reset the saddle and asked me how I would do it! She didn't seem to know the proper placement or how tight to make the girth because apparently this happened before. She then told me to walk down the lawn and let the horse graze while I waited for the rest of the group. It's not a safe practice to let horses graze while mounted, especially with beginners, but apparently that's what they do regularly. When the group was ready to leave, Janet started off on her horse and just about 30 yards from the barn, before even getting to the trail, the horse tripped and fell all the way down to the ground!! Janet fell off of course, and the horse walked off. If I had any doubt that all the red flags I'd clocked were right, this confirmed it. She was shaken up but ok, but didn't go on the ride, I don't know what was up with the horse but if a horse falls down just walking across a lawn, that raises questions about soundness and safety that are serious.

I spoke with Carrie who altered her schedule for that day to fit us in and we couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. She took the time to get us comfortable with our horses, I had Montana and my wife had Sonny, and we fed them treats, she showed us how to saddle them up properly, and patiently explained how to properly ride and handle our beautiful horses. She then led us on their scenic trail through flower-bedded fields, hilly horse paths, and by a scenic lake all while she took hundreds of pictures of us throughout our journey to cherish for years to come. Carrie has a beautiful farm, stable, and even an indoor area for riding lessons and parties. Her horses are all beautiful, well-kept, trained to handle all level of riders, and obviously well-loved and cared for. I highly recommend Misty Hollow for everyone, no matter which experience you choose to partake in (trail riding, lessons, parties, equestrian, etc). I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Carrie and Misty Hollow, as well as Montana, Sonny, and Holly, for wonderful memories made!!!!

I really love horses and was interested in grooming and tacking the horse I am to ride. I have ridden the same horse so far and she is perfect for now. Cari is a wonderful instructor and I have learned many things I was never taught before. She is also very patient! She also cares about horses and takes great care of them and that was part of my decision to ride here. I have already signed up for additional lessons. I went on a trail ride yesterday for the first time and all I can say is it was incredibly awesome. We walked some and enjoyed the scenery and had the opportunity to canter as well. It was loads of fun and I look forward to going again. If you are looking for a place to learn to ride, continue your training and going on Trail rides this is definitely the place to go! But Stoneview is definitely the longest time my horses have been boarded. I hope it's like home for them by now. I love the people at Stoneview Farms. It's no drama, no bossing, no rudeness, and no stress. Stoneview Farms is a place where people come to enjoy their time with their horses. I really appreciate that. The schedule is very open but I always check for availability on special days. So far I can visit my horses anytime: 8 pm or 6 am. On holiday days or weekends. This is important since I live 35 miles away and I have a very busy schedule. The barn is kept extremely clean. The horse stalls are 14x14 large. Perfect for really big horses like mine. It has windows that are open in the summer. It never really gets too hot in this barn. I think it is because of the altitude of its location. There is always a nice breeze. The farm also has a large arena, a round pen, a jumping field and a track. The horses are not crowded in their paddocks which means there is plenty of green landscape for our equines to enjoy. The Taddeo family and their employees work tirelessly in improving the previously neglected farm. Every month there is something new, something improved and it makes everyone happy. Its already a gorgeous farm that suits our pocket sizes. Some boarders are serious horse people. They will ride under any weather, and their horses are worked almost daily in their skills. That is always inspiring to me. Some horses there are retired but they look very happy and cared for by their owners. Some horses belong to Eric Taddeo and these are race horses that are worked out almost daily. I really enjoy seeing all this activity. But nobody is preaching and its a very relaxed atmosphere without die hard rules. I do recommend this farm. It's a pity they don't have an indoor or a warm space to hang out in the winter with my children. But I'm certain that eventually it will happen... I love their new instructor Laura Juhlin and she has brought in so much business by teaching horse ridding to children and adults. She is also very easy going and knowledgeable of her horses. Stoneview Farms is the best Warwick secret. They are affordable, kind, home like facility for all sorts of horses and their owners. Thank you guys!
