My sister tagged me on a post and I knew I just had to find a way for us to go despite our busy schedules. Finally, I was able to get tickets and we made our way to Chaos to shake our booties and get our dose of Lil' Jon. It was both our first time to go to Chaos, and we were thrilled that as soon as we entered, we were greeted by the very fascinating lighting fixtures. After grabbing drinks, we were shocked to find a pole dancer strutting her stuff on a well-made "cage." She was gracious and wasn't trashy at all. In fact, it made me think of possibly taking pole dancing classes, if it meant I'd have her body and grace. Anyway, After a while, it was time for Lil' Jon and his DJ set caused the good kind of chaos. It was so much fun! At several points over his performance, cryogen guns were blasted from the stage by in-house dancers and the likes of us who have been dancing and were getting sweaty welcomes each passing of the cold air. To finish strong, Lil' Jon, along with dancers and service managers threw a champagne shower with about 10 bottles of Moet. It was crazy, tiring, and we loved it! To sate our growing appetites, though, we also ordered their meatballs. Organic, they said, with truffle - and not truffle oil, from what we could taste, because the truffle wasn't overwhelming; it flavored the meatballs just right. Monopole is a nice, intimate venue for wine exploration or enjoyment. They offer glasses of wine in tasting servings to full pours, though longer conversations may require the bottle itself. We got an amazing VIP booth section on the second floor. I don't remember how much we paid but I think it was between 20K-25K pesos with drinks and food included! This isn't your typical bar where the standards are available and the bartender looks like your dad's pare. The bartenders here are definitely serious mixologists and there's no drink here I haven't enjoyed. There's a good selection of imported beers here, though I would like to see more local filipino craft here since the only local beer option is San Miguel Extra Dry unfortunately. Come here to chill with friends and let off some steam. They also offer food selections from their other neighbor, Joe's Meat Shack. If I'm not looking to go crazy on my few nights off and I'm looking for some straight chill, Finders Keepers is definitely a keeper for me.

I verbatim asked if SC is gratuity/tip. Mike's answer was a confident no - so I asked for some change from a larger bill which resulted in two more bills way bigger than what customary tip should be. This left me and my girlfriend who's stomach upset by the meal in an awkward situation of really not wanting to ask for change again because of how long menial tasks took. Essentially I felt strong-armed into an what for me was an uncomfortable position. Sure I could have said something but I was brought to an uneasy place where I thought I was purchasing an upscale experience. (I only googled what SC was once I got home) 2- The pizza had a 4cm puddle of oil in the center - yuck. 3- I ordered a cocktail which was improperly made multiple times, so poorly I had to speak up. On the re-delivery it looked sloppy and tasted like what was done was the addition of water and a heavy citrus squeeze. It was a simple and classic drink that is standard for every bartender to know. I didn't ask for a mocktail or whatever made up drink that was. 4 - What upset me most was Mike sitting at our table without a reason or invitation, very close to my girlfriend. This is the first time I even wanted to leave a 1-Star review. Since I only leave 5-star reviews I will continue to do so here but with this as a warning. Rooftops are cool but there are others with better views and better service than what Mike delivers. Can someone tell him that his behavior seems to be misaligned with how the organization he represents presents their hospitality services? Dang. I didn't want to post a review while feeling upset so I slept on it. Pretty affordable if you're converting USD to PHP but likely very expensive for locals If you're on a local salary. I've been to actual speakeasies in the US that survived Prohibition era and they don't quite have the same feel--for starters, the building is new, there are no secret doors or hidden basements, there isn't a password or secret code to get in or antique version of the menu, no history about how the place survived when it was illegal to sell and distribute alcohol. Despite not having the culture and history behind it, it is still a very good experience and would highly recommend for the drinks and ambiance.
