Upon returning, the manager of the booth claimed we had crashed 2 jet skis together, a claim that was denied by the worker who was with us on the water! Obviously, we did not crash the vehicles, and if we had, we would have understood the extra charge. The owner stated that we would be charged an extra $500, and refused to give back the credit card until we signed for this fraudulent charge. He then asked if we wanted the police to become involved, to which we responded yes, as we knew we had done nothing wrong. However, he refused to call the police, and kept the card locked in a box that he kept on him. It was clear he threatened the use of police to intimidate us into signing the enormous bill. It is sad that there are people out there that are so willing to rob others, and lie blatantly to their faces. Please save your time and anguish, and book elsewhere. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Before the dive, Peter let me check out his swimming board "subwing" that u ride below the waterline behind the boat .. this was super cool (no surcharge)... the driver also was super cool to my Gf while she snorkeled.. thank u

Visited March 12-15, 2025. Took the gray whale journey for 3 nights and 4 days with Baja…read moreExpedition, specifically Nautilus (glamping tent which got a free upgrade). I enjoyed the humpback whale expedition which came with a free lunch and drinks. We saw a lot of action not terribly far from shore. They also offered a photo workshop. Believe this is more useful for folks that use a digital camera as opposed to a cell phone camera although she gave some tips on that as well. Both were complimentary (on March 11). There was nothing wrong with the trip per se but there are many parts that occurred to get you to where you end up finally. Everyone was nice but I feel like there is a drop in communication as there are too many parts of the wheel. The charter flight was about 2 and half hours so make sure you use the restroom. There is NO bathroom on board. Also for clothing, please make sure you are covered from head to toe. This is NO joke. The weather may seem hot as hades on shore except at night, prepare for windy freezing conditions (they provided a heater AND heating blankets). When you are on the panga and travelling fast, it will be windy and probably cold. However, when you are waiting for some action, you are under the sun in water. Do NOT wear shorts and bring a cover-up for your face as well. Caps/hats are all good ideas. They offered the gaiters and a wind breaker. I commend the luxury tent. This is really what you are paying for. The fact that you get your own porta-potty and running water was fantastic. The shower had more settings than my own shower. They also offer room service so if you don't want it, please let them know. The food was decent as well. Breakfast is buffet and there is a person who can make you an omelet and the lunch and dinner are plated. Honestly, unless you enjoy the feeling of a 5 star hotel, don't think it was necessary. You honestly don't have that much time to eat during this trip. The time is literally spent getting ready for and the whale excursions. There's a volleyball net, soccer goals & bikes for you but it was so windy and honestly not much time to do any of that. Happy Hour had a different "snack" each day (oyster one was awesome) but no alcohol is free except for the one you get when you get off the plane. The food and service was wonderful. Was every dish a 5? No, but you are in a place where they have to import everything. There is also a nightly 30 minute? presentation given by some of your tour leaders. This tour company had the furthest spot (closest to the airport) so you spend a good 30 minutes (travelling quite fast) to get to the area where the whales are (and don't forget the return trip). We saw plenty of whales but everyone is there to "touch" a whale. The last day there, all the boats in our area did manage to touch one and our boat collided with another panga. Luckily all, including the whale, were unharmed but needless to say, our panga did NOT touch one. It also sounded like the whales were not coming to that area as much anymore. In fact, some were spotted in Cabo. Pro Tips: You should ask they rotate the people on the boats so you're not always with the same captain or panga. If you don't mind sharing a central porta-potty, pick a tour company that is closer to the area where they gather. You will have more free time. Don't drink any diuretics before the panga rides as bathrooms are limited to nature (although some boats do have a bathroom). Pangas that are lower might be better because than when you reach over the boat, you're closer to the surface of the water and don't have to bend over as much. This is a desert area so keep that in mind when packing.

Our family of 4 adults did the grey whale experience the end of March. It was beyond amazing. Baja…read moreExp staff is wonderful and super friendl/helpful. The weather is fairly moderate at that point. Chilly at night and warm during the day. But be prepared for the night time wind. Bring earplugs as the tents slap against the poles most of the night. Not Baja's fault as you can't control the weather. Also, food is decent but keep in mind this is a camp in the middle of a national park so it is not high end resort food. Very good considering the remoteness of the location. Also having your own en-suite bathroom was everything!! No cold walks to the bathroom during the night.

I never received anything in my email other than a payment receipt. The information she texted was incorrect and had to be corrected. After the initial point of contact she did not return any text messages to answer questions. Our driver arrived almost 20 minutes late. Cabo Day Trips did not answer the telephone number on their website or the number they initially texted me from when we attempted to inquire about the delay. Our driver was otherwise a great driver and gave us a nice overview of the areas we drove thru and was prompt to pick us back up again. The snorkel tour itself had some pluses and minuses. Plus - snorkel guide was pleasant and helpful, small group, great view and time spent seeing the Arch, boat guide was also pleasant. We had a bilingual group so they were sure to speak in both English and Spanish. Photographer on boat did a nice job and the price of the photos was very reasonable. Minuses - our snorkel guide chummed for fish - great to see so many fish swimming near us but feeding the fish tortillas cannot be a great way to support a healthy ecosystem, our snorkel guide did little to educate us on the amazing array of fish and coral we saw - was more interested in seeing how deep down he could swim and encouraging cliff jumping. The "box lunch" was a brown paper bag with a smushed sandwich made out of dry bread with a piece of meat and some veggies and a small bag of spicy cheetos. We were never provided water or sodas as promised. Thankfully we also brought our own water otherwise we would have run into trouble given the heat. We did not stop at lovers beach as promised, understandably because of ocean conditions (it was rough there) but Medino beach was to be back up and we still did not go there even though we left snorkeling 30 minutes early because of how crowded and rough the water was. We ended up walking 15 minutes on our own to Medino beach which was green flag beaches. We were not advised there was the option of photos or to bring money for them. Very underwhelmed, felt a bit like a bait and switch which over-promised and under-delivered. Will not use Cabo Day Trips again.
