BEWARE! This company required full payment three months in advance for The Vacquera Fishing boat…read more We were repeat customers. We received confirmation about the trip via email. They double booked us, and we ended up with NO FISHING TRIP! They even had no idea they had double booked us until we called them! Horrible experience, no communication, unprofessional.

It's a bit frustrating but they put you on the fish when all the other boats are out exploring. Radio's shorten the path to where the fish are. The boats are flawless. And after spending a day in the sun fighting fish sitting or napping in the cabin thats 72 degrees is pretty amazing. The deck hand and captain work hard to put you on the fish but also entertain and share their fishing knowledge. I've been on other boats who don't chum. Jen Wren are catching bait fish and letting skipjacks float off the back of the boat. They had so many poles in the water at first. But when we got on the tuna we were just fishing 5 poles as there 3 passengers and 2 Jen wren employees. They were quick to help us in the fight and make it as fun as possible. Lucky tip: we caught 4 triggers, 2 dorados and 3 tuna all off cut skipjack slices. The Minos didn't produce anything other than bait fish. BTW triggers make great ceviche. Spend a little extra money for the comfort of knowing the boats are well maintained and you have the option of cooling off in the cabin.

This is an updated review;…read more We went out twice with Daliken while on vacation for our honeymoon. The first day, there was a lot of miscommunication, we ended up having an extremely dissatisfied experience not just from not catching fish but in terms of captain being unpleasant, boat, and general service. After posting a review about this; my husband was contacted by Daliken and we were offered to come back on another day. Luckily we had time available in our trip. Now, our second trip was exactly what we were expecting. Easy check in process, personable captain (Reuben was great!!!) everything matched the description of the experience and website. We did end up catching a large Mahi Mahi but regardless if we caught anything or no; the experience was fantastic! On a well kept, boat that felt safe to be on. Captain did a lot of explanation of where we were going, what type of fish to expect, what to do if we did catch something and just generally held conversation well and kept us engaged even in slower parts of the day. We even saw dolphins, turtles and seals! Which was super cool but again regardless of just having a great day on the water with catching and seeing so much, Reuben made our experience fantastic! They were kind and respectful about handling the original negative review, and definitely made up for it! Thank you again Daliken for making this a much better Day 2.

We had a terrible experience with this company. Today is my…read morehusband's birthday and we were super excited for this fishing trip. But they had ruined my husband's birthday completely. 1. We booked a tour for 8 hours and we returned back to the marina within 6hours. 2. The captain and staff appears to be nice and welcoming at first but there was no communication once we went underway. W Spent a Max of 35mins fishing and caught a total of 3fish (2 small tuna+ 1 skipjack), the rest of time were just trolling. I thought they were talking us to a different spot but there was never a different spot! 3. My husband left a 2star review on Google and it got deleted. When trying to communicate with the company they pretend they didn't do it. And claim that our complaint were untrue( such as their captain explained to us about different fish and what we fishing for etc. That is such a lie!!!) 4. I am not recommending this company to anyone. I feel like we got scammed big time. So hopefully no one else have to experience this.
