Prime thrift used to be a great store - I never left empty handed. They had a great selection of CDs, DVDs, housewares and men's clothes, and I couldn't complain about prices. They're rebranded as Eco-thrift and the results are disappointing. Lame selection of just about everything and they've jacked up prices considerably. While I used to spend a couple hours here loading up a shopping cart, last time I left empty-handed after 30 minutes. Very disappointing to see a once-good store go downhill like this. Sunday was always the place to go at Edgewood Thrift Store. They had 3 colors that were half price and great prices for their merchandise. They have been taken over now by Eco Thrift. The prices are outrageous and high!! The merchandise is more now, but junkier. Everything is not displayed the way it used to be; it is nothing but rows and rows of unattractive, unarranged highly priced junk. The prices are more than Walmart and the Dollar Store. USED shoes 20.99, belts 12.99, bras 6.99 a bag of broken toys 6.99, blankets 10.49. Who is going to pay these super inflated prices??? They don't allow returns any longer, even if it is electronic and doesn't work. This was the last time for me today. I love thrifting but I am not paying these exorbitant prices. Hope you enjoy taking it all down when people don't buy your overpriced stuff any longer. SHAME ON YOU!! What is your mission, what charity do you represent Where is all this money going?? If you take all your donations to Tabithas across the street which is a non-profit, the money helps serve the communities of Harford County. It funds a food pantry and provides free clothing. Other services are available to those who are going through a season of need. read more

Maybe the manager needs an online class not call shoppers liars What happened to me today a day after Christmas. Earlier this month they gave me a scratch off card to use before the end of the month. Well OK.Dec 26 I went shopping and would you know it I can't use my discount scratch card because I tore the receipt from the scratch off card. She went off on me. Like I was scolded. And I told by the initial cashier, that they told me not to tear apart. In order to use my discount scratch card.. but no cashier told me that. But she insisted I was told. And that is flat out lie. The selection is constantly changing and updated. Prices are great, sales too! The staff is awesome!! And always super friendly and helpful!

Absolutely the worst service. Kevin stands out... terrible customer service. They actually gave me only one of my bags instead of two bags that had all of my merchandise in it and then blamed me for not having left the store with both of my bags. I got home and found only half my items. Was told that the next customer got the rest of my itemsand was given a partial credit for the inconvenience. This was not acceptable and should've been given a gift certificate and a full refund for the item that I did not get. Their attitudes were terrible. Their phone skills were terrible and customer service overall was terrible. That's all there is to it. read more

Prices used to be fantastic! Went in today and almost all of the textile items were WAAAAAAAAYYYYY OVER PRICED!!! COME ON, MAN! These items were DONATED to your facility! Men's button down shirts were $19.98!!!!!! Why should I buy it second hand at that price when I can buy a new 1 at Wal-Mart for half the price? I saw some outrageous prices in there... if you're looking for a bargain on clothes, don't look there. Some other items were a decent price. The service is outstanding! Decent thrift store but beware of the prices at times!! You can find some amazing clothing for a great deal and then you may find something priced just about the same as retail. (Shocking yes I would agree!!) Just like goodwill they have color marked days. Meaning when you look at the tag that is on a item depending on the color will tell you if their is a discount on that item for the day or not. Love finding the items that is that color for the day because then you get pieces for a real decent price. This thrift store carries just about everything from panties to vinyl. So it's a bit hard to not find at least one thing you may want or even need! The staff are pretty helpful. The do offer military discount and they have a rewards program that is worth signing up for so you can accumulate points towards rewards off the items you are buying as well! read more

I always try to donate nice furniture to this store when I have something I no longer want. Today was no exception. I had a white sideboard table with a glass top from IKEA that I brought to donate. It had a spot where the paint needs touched up on the top but overall, it is in very good condition. I got the item out of my car and set it down so the worker could take it. Before he was about to grab it, I was going to tell him to make sure he grabbed it from the bottom of the top piece because the framing on top is not anchored in the middle, only on the sides (that's how it is built). It has a decorative flat white surface framed on top that it is not meant to be carried by. As soon as the donation associate grabbed it, he grabbed it by that part and it of course felt loose because it is not meant to be grabbed by that part. I started to tell him to please grab it from the bottom because the top is decorative/weighed down by and frames the glass piece. You can see the top in the picture. The man was so rude and said "We are for profit, I will decide if we will take it." Whoah man, I was just trying to tell you that the piece should not be carried by that part or it would break. Even if it was brand new, it should not be grabbed/supported by that part. He was nasty. I would have taken it home if they didn't want it and given it away to someone on the "Buy Nothing" Facebook group if I had known that the donation associate at 2:00 pm on April 2nd, 2023 would have been so rude. I will give away my furniture before giving it to them again. I donated another item about 2 weeks ago that I had gotten on Facebook marketplace for $20, they had it for sale in the store for $70. I will never donate to them again. All they care about is $$ and I will not go somewhere where I am not treated with respect. read more

This is definitely a diamond in the rough, one of my favorite thrift stores outside of Baltimore.

Good staff here -- helpful and pleasant. I have been here three times over the past month or month-and-a-half and every time I have been impressed by the helpful staff. The store is clean and well-lit and well-organized and pleasant to shop in. And today I had need of a bathroom and the bathroom here is CLEAN! The parking is free. Definitely worth a drive. read more

This thrift store is very nice I think the prices are really high for used goods. They use to be reasonable and lot of the merchandise is old and pricey. You really have to take your time to look to find the discount color of the day. read more

Very poor managers and customer service at this store. First time customer on Saturday and bought a jogging stroller in cash. Wanted to return it on Monday, with the tag on and receipt in hand. Was told that a jogging stroller is classified as "furniture" and was non-refundable. It would have been nice if the cashier, Becca would have told me that the purchase was non-refundable and even nicer if the receipt said "furniture" instead of "misc pink." Whatever that means!!!
