There was no other window. So it's either choose darkness or no privacy. The kids screaming at the pool were clearly audible inside our room as well and our well past 11pm. The TV channels were completely inaccurate. If you enjoy hard beds and very soft pillows this would be perfect for you. Pluses: we were able to check in early and got our cookies. The staff overall seemed like they couldn't have cared less. I'm used to getting some direction where I might find my room, but not here. At least parking was free and the products in the bathroom were good. The no outside light situation was a huge disappointment.

Unfortunately, the hotel just recently (July 2026) had some water damage due to 6" of rain and some of the rooms on the first floor now have severe mildew smell and so far they are still booking these same rooms. They need to block off the bad rooms until they get the water issue mitigated. Most of the rooms are fine, especially on the second floor. They need to be smarter than this. Our relatives stayed there this last week and the smell was BAD until they moved them to the second floor. I hope the manager responds and has a plan. He made me feel comfortable and safe with where I was staying. Traveling alone, I don't always feel that way. Because I was a Wyndham Platinum member he upgraded my room for me. They are so friendly, greet us very charmingly every time we see them. The breakfast is great!! The manager here, Bhavim has gone way out of our way to make sure our stay has been excellent. With us staying here for so long, they have made it so our room is always available for us. He manages this place so well and has always made sure we have been happy. At first, we were dreading staying in a hotel so long away from home, but staying here is so welcoming and comfortable, its almost better than staying at home. I was able to easily book a room online for a reasonable rate. They were expecting us when we arrived and the front desk was staffed so we didn't have to wait to get our room. Unfortunately, we were able to book a triple queen bed online. We recently stayed in a triple bed room so we knew they existed but apparently not at this location. Upon arrival we learned it was a website error and we actually booked a single queen bed. They were shocked to see our confirmation and upgraded us to a double queen at no extra cost. Breakfast is included but very light. There is a Caribou Coffee around the corner for good coffee. Lots of parking options and a shared parking lot with the DoubleTree next door which was lively with a bar and music when we arrived late.

I'm not sure why I had to go through the check-in process again. I put my credit card in when I first booked the room. I put my credit card in a second time when I did in-advance online check-in a few hours before. Not sure why I had to do this a third time once arriving. I'm hoping I don't get charged an additional time. I certainly did not have to do this at the last place. This is not what I expect of the Wyndham brand. Breakfast is what killed the majority of the stars. It was obvious the 'on duty' manager was asleep in the back instead of having breakfast ready. He only came out (NO SHOES ON) once someone rang the bell. He made no acknowledgment of why someone was ringing the bell in the first place. Several of the guests, including us all sat in the dark without the ability to eat the promised breakfast. Most things were not out. The only signs of any attempt to get breakfast ready was a semi warm tray of eggs, sausage, and gravy. While we were able to access eggs that were sitting in the warmer, I'm not sure what was served was safe to consume. The eggs were sour-tasting. I watched multiple couples spit them out, including us, and throw them away. The refrigerated items (that were accessible only after the manager woke up) were chilled, but not cold. Fruit in the dish was spoiled and rotting. There was one minor issue with the room. Online it clearly says each room has a coffee maker and ironing board. I found neither. If you're looking for a place that has adequate rooms (without a freezer compartment in the fridge) but expect nothing else, this might be the place ELSE stay far away.

Unbeknownst to me, my husband was there physically to book at the same time. He said the receptionist was too busy drinking with 2 other guys and was clearly too drunk to do work, so he left. I don't care how good the place is, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Can't believe Rodeway Inn hires disrespectful, inconsiderate, irresponsible people like this. He said he was a tad disappointed in the beer; it was a bit warm. I only had water with my burger. The coleslaw was just so-so. There was a large funeral across the street and apparently the attendees gathered here afterwards because it was pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon. But it was still not too crazy and we were able to have a conversation at a reasonable volume. Lots of TVS playing sports. Some reviews referred to it as a nightclub which seems a stretch. At least in the afternoon it was family friendly.. The espresso martinis were strong and all alcohol. But what I'm used to and not my favorite but we definitely got a nice buzz! The cheese curds were average; the pizza fries were an interesting concept. It would have been nice if the cheese had been melted more. The pepperoni was somewhat spicy. The fries were really good! I truly enjoyed the quinoa bowl. The pork belly was crispy and crunchy and just delectable. It worked well with the quinoa and vegetables. I'd happily eat this regularly. Prices are average. Especially for a hotel, one might even consider them reasonable. It's a good option if you don't want to leave the hotel.

With the current events this did not bother me. I informed him my GPS was telling me I'd get there about 9:30pm but I needed to still get gas and dinner so I told him I'd be there between 9:30-10 pm. I explained that I attempted to contact the hotel the day before but no one answered. I asked if that was okay he said he locks the doors at 9:30. I said I'd do my best but it would probably be closer to 10. He said I'd have to call from outside. I said okay no problem as long as you answer. 9:21 pm he calls me to ask where I was. Are you kidding me??? I told him my GPS said a 9:34 pm arrival and I'd be there as soon as I can. This man was actually RUSHING me because he was hungry. What!?!? So eat. He knew when I was getting there. I'm paying to stay there. His time management is not my problem then he acted like he was doing me this great favor by waiting for me. Get out of here with that!!!! I was there at exactly 9:34 pm on the dot btw! As soon as I come in he shows me his social distancing measures. That's fine I'm practicing social distancing. Not an issue. Then this man comments that I'm not wearing a mask. Neither is he. So?????? He makes a big show of putting on gloves to touch my ID. And holds his hand up to allow to to approach. Excuse me? I'm an adult. He explains everything to me. Got it. Then asks me when I'm checking out. What? Check out is 11am. I can leave when I want. I don't have a set time. He kept pressuring me for a time. I said 9:30 amp I was out by then because I was afraid he'd call to ask when I'd be leaving. He was telling me how it was hard to get housekeeping to come out. He asks if I needed an accessible room. I told him no. Then he said well that's what you booked. Sorry. I can take a different room not a big deal. This is a tiny hotel maybe 20-24 rooms at most. Only myself and one other person were staying there on a Friday night. He then told me I had to go outside, walk to the other end of the building and come in the back way to my room. What? It's dark out, it's late, I'm a single woman and he wants me to walk outside to enter? I have to use my keycard to get in but the contraption was impossible. Luckily the other person, a man, was outside at his truck using his phone and helped me get in. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!! The owner/manager was now in the hallway which I found creepy-was directing me to my room like I can't read numbers. I don't think this place deserves a two, but not a three star review either. With two people staying and he knew what time I'd be there why did he have to harass me about how he's hungry which he mentioned some more when I checked in. Like I care!!!

Well let's start with what I started with and that's the front desk. They said I could check in…read moreanytime after 12 but had a sign on the door that they were gone until 4pm. Ok cool. Got inside and had to pay for my husband to stay with me but also a fee to Expedia. The place looked like a complete dump. I finally got to my room and oh my. The carpet right inside the door was ripped and "patched" I was having surgery the next day so I had to shower twice. There was mold throughout the entire shower. The shower head was broken and leaking everywhere. The wall and ceiling were crumbling and there was hair all over the tile. (Not mine) the tissue box was on the wall in the bathroom but empty. Alright moving on to the bedroom. Plug ins were all pushing into the wall so you couldn't use them. The walls were covered in a substance. There was grease face prints on the mirror. We laid down for 2 hrs and woke up bitten to crap. Bed bugs up the ying yang. Tried to tell front desk he only got mad and started yelling at us. Claiming we were there long enough for us to have noticed them before. This place I wouldn't reccomend to my worse enemy. It was disgusting smelled horrid and the staff was so rude it was remarkable! Don't stay here!
