Excellent customer service all around. Everyone greeted with you with a 'hello' and a smile. There was plenty of parking, the room and all areas of the hotel were cleaned and maintained throughout the day. A special shout out to Marshay and (don't remember her name) the Housekeeping Supervisor; excellent customer service and professionalism. I will make this my hotel of choice on my next visit.

Note: The person who checked me in was really nice and helpful, despite. The 2nd night I was there, I saw two roaches in my room. I told a lady on the cleaning crew and the person who checked me out the next day. They apologized. After my stay, a few days went by and I realized that I didn't get a survey. I wanted to complete the survey giving accolades to the gentleman that checked me in, but I was never sent the survey (could be a coincidence, but my thought is it was intentional). The breakfast was typical (sausage, some form of eggs, pastries, fruit, yogurt, instant grits, oatmeal, cereal, etc.). I appreciate that "healthier" options include turkey sausage and (pre-made) egg-white omelets. Note, my favorite breakfast item though was the "breadless" quiche. The staff member responsible for managing the breakfast was pleasant as well. I enjoyed the exercise room and am always happy to see when rooms have recyclable bins. Even though we ran into a bit of an issue, management made it right, which was very appreciative and a sign of great customer service. I will certainly plan to stay at this hotel again when back in the area!

The floor tiles were broken and not sealed correctly. Most importantly there is definitely black mold showing through some of the paint on walls. The box spring cover was soiled. The only silver lining in the dark cloud over this property were the front desk reps who were helpful and the wonderful lady who worked in the breakfast area.

Walk into the lobby and there the people standing or sitting, but all are waiting for someone to check them in. There is no clerk. I take a spot in line and wait. Someone says they have been waiting almost an hour - I've been there 10 minutes. Fourty minutes later a clerk comes up, takes the sign that says stepped away down and starts. Mind you I was #11 so it still took a while to get to me. A few minutes after the clerk walks in a black Escalade pulls up to the door, the driver walks in on her phone and goes straight to the back. Never addressed anyone or offers any help. I'm finally in my room at 8:20, and restaurants are closing. Oh well, no dinner. Like I said, the facility is good, but with this poor of a management, it won't be for long. Rooms: 4 Service: 1 Location: 4 BTW, I did reach out via the app and initiated a text where I was assured someone would respond within 48 hours. A week later and no response I followed up and was again lied to, I mean assured that a manager would reach out in 24 hours... that was a week ago and no response. And of course, because most of the ratings and comments were favorable on other sites and some on the Yelp site. The room is small, but big enough for two adults and a 50 lb dog. The KS bed was comfortable and not super high like most hotels. We appreciate the lower height. The room has an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, safe and mini fridge. I like the efficient storage space for these items. The room and bedding was clean, except I would say they could do a better job on the bathroom floor. The water was hot and they provide everything you need: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion (all Dove products). The parking lot is large and clean. They provide a nice, mowed down grassy area to walk your dog. Not all people are considerate enough to pick up their own dog's poop, but it wasn't awful. The breakfast was basic, but good. We had an issue getting our $50 pet deposit refunded when checking out. The person at the desk said it is a fee not a deposit. That is not what we read on the website nor what the person at the desk said when we checked in. So, instead of a long back and forth, we left. I called Guest Services from the car, explained the situation and yes, the $50 deposit is refundable. Just be aware of that. Otherwise, we would stay here again.

The lobby furniture was kinda worn. The room itself was ok and it seemed clean. The bed was mildly comfortable. The bathroom however wasn't cleaned very well. There was some hair and the tub looked like it had makeup wiped on the floor of it. The toilet was working but kinda wasn't. My aunt said her room had a toilet that was doing the same as ours and her sink backed up. The breakfast bar left a little to be desired but they have a cool waffle maker that you can make good waffles in. It has a convenient location right off I-20 and on a main road and minutes from a few locations. Overall it worked for what we needed it to...A emergency backup plan that was cheap and clean ish place to crash after a long day of traveling. It wasn't the best place I've stayed but it's one of the better places to stay in this area.
