Then out comes ol' Frank, proudly sporting his Dallas Cowboys hat that looks like it's been around since Staubach played. Extremely nice couple trying to hang on to the place these days it seems. Not that I needed a reason...the price is among the lowest you'll pay anywhere, and you just cannot get this built-with-my-own-two-hands charm at some chain spot. The room I'm in is quaint, wood paneling and you can tell it was built by caring hands and maintained by the same all these years. Clean room, plenty of nice clean towels and get this--two full size bars of Ivory soap. 2 sinks, nice soft king bed, fridge TV microwave, dresser, just a nice cozy place that you'll never see at some cookie cutter chain motel. The Mrs. (wish I had gotten her name) told us to be sure to make it for breakfast, which I'm certain will be excellent. Don't pass this place up. Disclaimer: they don't have WiFi. But I still say it's well worth staying here if you can live without it.
