I have two other tires on the front that only have 33,000 on them. All tires are Michelin 80,000 mile warranty . They said I should keep the newer tires on the back. Which is ok then. But here they are trying to justify that my tires are wearing on the front and back. But the wear on them is even. I always have my front and back alignment done. I'm just so upset they try to talk me into buying tires I don't need. Just because I'm an elderly woman , I hate being taken advantages of. I'm pretty upset over this and I've been a loyal customer.

What struck me as odd about this business is that they only accept cash as payment. They also didn't give me a receipt when they handed me my $10 change (2 x $5 bills) from the $40 I paid them (2 x $20). Since I don't usually carry (that kind of) cash (since I live in the 21st century), they told me there was an ATM within walking distance (just a few doors down to the east at the Valero station, right inside the door). That was barely a 5-minute walk, & they had the tire changed out completely & the new tire was installed about the time I got back. I'd use them again if back in the neighborhood when the need arises.

Found out today that I need new brakes and rotors again when I asked my oil change place to rotate my tires. Apparently, the one's I had installed are already needing replacement along with a lug nut that was totally cross-threaded. My oil change guys said that the rotors are warping and already have grooves. They said to take it back to the shop that installed them because they needed to take care of it. I immediately went back to Quality Tire and Brakes, but that was a complete waste of time. I talked to the exact same guy that did the work and showed him the lug nut first. Then told him to look at the rotors and brakes. After a 30 minute wait so he could handle other customers, he came back and asked me where else I had been to have work done on my truck. I responded that I hadn't been anywhere else except my oil change place. He looked at it for awhile and then asked if I could come back in the morning so they could fix it. When I told him no because I go to work at 5 and don't usually get home until 6, he started saying that there wasn't anything wrong with the rotors even though you could clearly see the grooves that were being cut in to them. When I pressed him further, he said that everything was fine. I again pointed out the lug nut and said that something was obviously wrong. The response to that was the install was perfect and that he had pictures that he couldn't produce when he was asked to do so. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from there for anything other than fixing your flats. I am out not only the cost of new brakes and rotors, but also the labor for them to incorrectly install them and time I've spent and will spend fixing it.

A few days later my check engine light came on. I took my vehicle to the dealership and my car system was flagged for incorrect tire sizes. I took my vehicle back to MTY Tire and they refused to correct the size issue. The owner who only speaks another language and always has to use an interpreter said he told me they were different sizes. I don't remember having this conversation at all. I remember being told that they don't have that tire in stock but they have a different one. I was under the impression that the new tires would still be the correct size tires. Regardless, of the circumstances it's bad bussiness to sell incorrect tire sizes to customers. I'm not a tire expert and I'm relying on the expertise of a tire shop to put correct tires on my vehicle. To add insult to injury the owner then offered to put on the correct size tires at a discounted rate of $80 a piece. My advice go to a different shop. I couldn't imagine Discount Tire selling you the wrong size tires and telling you they'll work, only to find out they don't, and then offering to sell you the correct tire sizes for more money. The owner doesn't seem to understand the concept of ethical bussiness practices.

It made a mess of all the sensors that we had to bring it to the dealership, and they informed us that the tires aren't the right size. Ok, maybe the shop made a mistake. So we went back to the owner of this shop to let them know the tires didn't fit, and all he said was "I told you it was different. You said that was fine." Why would we buy tires that don't fit? And why would they sell us tires knowing this? Their solution to remedy the situation was to try to get us to buy more tires from them. Bad business ethics, bad customer service, they aren't to be trusted...go somewhere reputable and save yourself the inevitable inconvenience.

Took in an 01 cherokee with noises in the front end I pre diagnosed as atleast a bad steering gear…read more Bought jeep in PHX drove to visit friend in the Mabank area before heading home to Indiana. Called Tuesday set up Wednesday appointment 8:00am. I told them "I think it has a bad steering gear and maybe some other stuff maybe some linkages or something". They said "alright we'll have to do a diagnostic then still". They do a diagnostic and agree steering gear is bad but nothing else is gonna need an aligment too extra $60 no biggie. I bring them down a new one within an hour of them calling so about 11:00(had ordered some parts in PHX preemptively didn't want to wait). Asked if they thought they'd have it done that day said "maybe well we got lunch yet today". Anyway leave it with them get a call around 4 saying "it won't be today probably 10-11:00 tomorrow". Called at 11:00 next day not ready. Called at 2:00 not ready but they said "it's done as soon as a tech can get it an alignment. I said "so I'll be down at 3:00?". They said "yeah if we can get a tech on it". Anyway I show up slightly after 3:00 it's ready I'm like "cool" still got 14hr of driving still. Pay the $400 and change. Main noise is gone but still has a noticeable noise and sloppiness in front. Also they ripped my floor mat hook out of the carpet. The check sheet of alignment had the same red zone as before but I don't align cars so take that as you will. So anyway I take off and drive to MO. Stop about every 2 to 3hrs on the way. Feeling front wheel bearings and diff cover. First stop diff cover was warm stopped at TSC grabbed 3/8 square drive open it up took a good bit of gear lube and obvious sign rear main seal had failed. Right front bearing seemed warmer than left. Second stop diffs cool other than throwing a little fluid right bearing is hot and left is definitely warm. Continue this next day too get home. Both wheel bearings definitely bad and a bad rear seal on front differential. Summary wouldn't recommend if you're on a time crunch or for a sole opinion on mechanical issues. Price was kinda high too.
