This is a story about a Dallas to Houston road trip gone awry, that happened as I was leaving on a…read moreweekend evening after all the tire shops had closed. It started with the telltale 'thump-thump-thump-thump' sound of a tire that had a hex bolt - including washer - impaling one of the rear tires. After pulling over into a major truck stop that included 7 different flavors of cappuccinos, (but not a single sealing foam for tires!), I was about to give up when I spotted a couple of Mexican tow-truck drivers hanging-out outside. Since my tire was still fully inflated, they told me to drive down I-45 to this joint that was straight out a of Mexican 'Vulcanizadora' casting agency, but with better tires, cleaner facilities and great service. 14 minutes and $8 later, I was back on the road with a patched tire. ¡Viva Mexico! ~ land of practicality. So took the truck to Ferris Truck Repair we were told that…read morethey are a 24-hour repair service location. However, that's not the case and we were billed for work that was. shotty. We took the truck paid the $ 4600 dollar bill and left. not even a month later truck broke down for the same exact thing. we broke down in San Antonio Tx. the Rude lady in the office who the owner has doing his dirty work answered and said that we should have the truck towed back to Ferris Tx and that they would look at it so basically i would have to pay a 4k tow bill to have them look at it. so, my truck is currently at another shop in San Antonio Tx and have a written statement from a couple different mechanics and once truck gets repaired, we will be getting our attorney on this and take legal action against the shop i do not recommend. this shop if you want professional shop take it elsewhere. I am sure they will try to reply with a bunch of BS but i guess that's what happens when you're like a used car salesmen.

Ok so I go up to "Lancaster Tire " looking to get a engine flush and oil change that was…read morerecommended by "E" the so called manager of this establishment as he recommended this work be done a week prior as I was there getting a slow leak repaired on one of my tires. He told me to bring my own engine flush because they didn't sell the flush there. So I come in for my engine flus and oil change and I'm there just 15 min. before shop opened and there was "E" about to open the store..O he already has a attitude about working on Saturday. I say how are this morning good man..he replied I was ok till I seen you in that dam Caddilac...um like what did I do to deserve that bro. He then says I ain't even trying to be here for nobody today. So after waiting 15 more min for him to get his day started he pulls in my vehicle and starts the oil change as I told him before I would bring my own bottle of engine flush that I did leave on the drivers seat so that he wouldn't miss seeing it. I wait another 45 min as he and a few other workers clown around and drag their feet ..then finally I get my car pulled out of the garage and "E" tells me I'm all done..I say did you put the engine flush in the motor before changing the oil? He replies yes I did. So I pay for my service and paid extra for the flush..then when I get a mile down the road I noticed my engine light came on and I began to smell oil so I pulled over and lifted my hood only to find my oil cap on to of my radiator so I put the oil cap back on the valve cover where it belonged. When I get back in my vehicle I noticed the from under my seat slid the bottle of engine flush that I asked "E" to use during the required service I paid him for. Hmmm so I then check my oil and I pull my dip stick only to find out that my oil was dirty and was a quart lower than when I first pulled into the shop. I must say totally confused and furious to learn that not only did they change my oil nor flush the engine, But somewhere down the line I lost a whole quart of oil ! No I have been going to Lancaster tire and auto for no I have been going to Lancastor tire and oil for several years but at that point several years, But to have this happen who is truly all unacceptable..I then went down the street to Kwick Kar & Lube On Pleasant Run across fro Jack in the Box and have been going there every since.
