I had a very intense operation on my right arm, involving a torn tendon and bicep, whereas they…read moredrilled into the bone for reattachment. My arm was in a 45 degree cast for six weeks, so that by the time it was removed, muscles and other areas were unable to stretch. I couldn't rotate the arm at all, and there was and still is numbness, swollen fingers, and pain throughout. Olga was immediately able to test and ascertain what we were facing, asking pertinent questions and requesting a full medical report from the sugeon's office. Olga and everyone I met there is focused and very serious about getting you back into the game. She went to work immediately with very effective treatment, advice, and a workout plan I could do at home to move things along. By the time she was through, I already had some movement, and a plan of attack until our next appointment. I am so glad to have chosen MPT, and look forward to our next session. I only have about three more weeks before returning to work, which is very labor-intensive, yet I feel fully confident that MPT will have me ready. Fantastic people and facilities. Fortunately, this impression has been validated every time I have gone for subsequent sessions. Todd, the lead physical therapist there, is truly outstanding at what he does. He brings immense kindness, focus, and dedication to his work, and he knows precisely how to move my arm so that the right muscles are stretched without getting inflamed. He gives very clear instructions for the exercises I need to do at home; they are simple and beneficial, not overwhelming as I feared they might be. Praise for Andrea as well, who is welcoming and organized in running the front office! I am not familiar with the others who work there, but they seem a capable and caring crew.

In person appointment. Dissatisfied with the office staff regarding Covid-19 procedures. Female…read moreemployee that checked me in took my ID & insurance card and put them down in front of her on the counter in front of her keyboard. Then she typed on the keyboard, then played with her mask moving it around (no gloves) went back to typing then picked up my ID looked at it put it back down, did the same thing with my insurance card. Then typed more and handed me my cards back. DID NOT SANITIZE them. No hand sanitizer was on my side of the plexiglass. I had to ask her for it, she put it in a little space in the plexiglass (facing outward). Well when I came back out from my visit with the Doctor, guess what? The sanitizer was in the exact same spot. They don't have enough to put one outside the plexiglass and inside for the employees? (And obviously she didn't use it while I was gone.) Initially while I was waiting for her to enter my information, I listened to the rest of the office staff (5 or more of them) complain about their computer access for the 10 minutes I was standing there. So with all that being said, when you go to see a pulmonologist, you expect certain things to be done by the nurse/medical assistant. Zero were done. Did they weigh me, take my blood pressure, and pulse? Yes. But not what gets done at a different health care company when you see the Pulmonologist. I will leave it at that...

I don't even know where to start! My stay here has a been a…read morenightmare since the start! First, there are equipment malfunctions everywhere! The nurse call button in room does not work! I waited 20 minutes before I had to get up and walk on a foot that I had surgery on to the nurses station to get help! Second the IV machine has malfunctioned and I have been waiting 15 mins for IV meds which are time sensitive! Third, I have been here about 18 hours and NOT ONCE has anyone taken my vital signs (blood preesure, oxygen, or temperature) Fourth, I have been missing meds that are essential to my recovery, and I was rudely told that rehab facilities do not have in house pharmacies and I would have to wait for my meds. I have had back pain and have not slept at all since I have been here! I was told when I was released from the hospital that everything would be all set for me. Fifth, the tech that took my finger stick for my blood sugar DID NOT WEAR GLOVES and had DIRECT SKIN TO SKIN CONTACT with my BLOOD!!!!! I have been asked to be transfered out of this facility and they do have a bed at another facility nearby, but was rudely told that "it's not much better anywhere else." I did speak with the nurse in charge about my concerns, but I know it has fallen on deaf ears! DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE!!!

Stay away. A few of the caregivers were good, but overall they were just there for a paycheck and…read morearen't qualified to care for anyone with health issues. Short staffed. Personal items disappeared.
