The windshield on our 06 Honda cracked during the last snowstorm. So after shopping around a bit and checking Yelp, we found Ed and Sons. 1st thing, Ashley was able to beat everybody else's price. A major win for us! 2. Once we got our schedules coordinated, everything turned out great. 3. When I picked up the car, it would not start. No big deal. 2 minutes later, the problem was fixed. We had a crack in our windshield from an errant piece of gravel that hit our car. I tried twice with safelite as recommended by our insurance, but they 1.) wouldn't fix it and 2.) then wouldn't replace it due to a trace amount of rust on the top frame of the car. My father, who works a side job in retirement for an area car dealership said they take all their repairs to this shop. The repair was done so fast, dealing with Ed and Sons was super pleasant, and they repaired the trace amount of rust at no cost. If you're willing to endure some frustration with lack of punctuality and communication then this may be an option to try. Abysmal customer service. Ed & Sons made an appointment with my husband to deliver and install a windshield in a classic car. They didn't show up and didn't bother to advise my husband that they wouldn't be there at the agreed time. When my husband called they had a lot of excuses for their no-show. Another appointment was made - same treatment. My husband is now waiting for the owner who said he'd personally be here to deliver and install. Dropped my 97 Explorer off overnight at Ed's to fix a tough interior leak near my air conditioner that my regular mechanic said wasn't the AC. Mechanic thought enough of these guys to send me from Mt. Holly. Mike, manager and one of the sons, showed me a foggy spot where the windshield meets the wiper area and said it might need a new windshield if the seal had failed. Next day Arlene calls me and says ready to pick up. The problem was a clogged cowling vent drain, which they fixed for a small fee, having to remove the front cowling, but it didn't need a new windshield and I saved a bundle. So thanks for being honest, Mike. Both Danielle and Arlene could not have been nicer, and I can't imagine how these other folks got the idea that Ed and Sons aren't first class. Came to my workplace to fix my Jeep's windshield about 6 months ago. Quick and painless. I work 20 miles away and it still wasn't a problem and the windshield price was one of the best prices offered. "Safe***** Repair, Safe***** Replace" couldn't even come close. This week my windshield suffered what appeared to be a stress fracture on the inside of glass, right down the middle. Ed & Sons is quality. Friendly and helpful customer relations, quick turn-around time, and top notch installation. With the recent weather in South Jersey my new car developed a crack in the windshied from a small chip that I never saw. After calling to well known glass services and being quoted similar prices I reached out to Ed & Sons. who came in well under the competition! After doing some reasearch, Ed & Sons also does contract work with local dealerships (so if you take your car to the dealer it may end up here anyway!). I called on Tuesday morning and had an appointment for the next day with and OEM replacement window (not a cheap aftermarket window like one of the others quoted). After arriving the parking lot was a little small but the friendly customer service pulled my car right into the shop and got to work. The technition even brought me in to show a small smudge I had pre-existing on my roof (I already knew aout it, but this is great customer service and attention to detail!) There is a small waiting room with basic cable and some toys and magazenes. There is also complimentary coffee. I took a small tirp to the Cherry Hill Mall while waiting. After 2.5 hours my car was complete and I picked it up. The window looked just like when I bought the car, all the trim was installed perfectly, no bunches or sealant drips. I can not rate this company highly enough for their excellent service and professionalism, not to mention they were the best price by far! read more

I have to say this place has the worst service. They came to my house and the two guy looked like they slept in a dirt hole in the woods. They banged on my door and sacred the hell out of my kids. When I went out side the dirty Guy was just rude and his partner with the neck tattoo was aggressive. They didn't want to do the job because I was sarcastic. I said two words to the dirty Guy. I call them dirty Guy and tattoo Guy because they don't wear uniforms. The best part was they drove a hour and did not work and didn't get paid. Way to go Ed and sons glass shop. This place is in partnership with most auto insurance and their ultimate goal is to help the auto insurance save money by pushing their propective clients to accept used parts /non original parts / minimum parts to fix their vehicle. If you decide to use ed &Son's service, get at least a second opinion from another shop or you will get screwed. My insurance had approved a number of parts( recommended by my car dealership) to replace my windshield. I chose ed and sons because their labor rate is supposed to be cheaper compared to my car dealership. ed and sons refused to install the recommended parts . Why? She (the woman at ed&sons) said my car does not need all those parts that dealership recommended. Right! She also emphasized that they know better than the bmw dealership because they've been in business for 51 years. The woman argued with me over the phone trying to persuade me to accept OEE (original equipment equivalent ) parts for my windshield replacement. She also lied and said she had contacted my auto insurance company already and my insurance will not cover OEM (original equipment manufacturer) expenses. I called my insurance and guess what? They covered all OEM expenses. I took my car to another shop and the windshield was replaced with all OEM parts. PEACE ed&sons! read more

Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Dropped our car off after they said they had our windshield in stock. Returned six hours later and was told they didn't have it after all. Never apologized for wasting our time, and never called during that six hour period to tell us the windshield wasn't in. Instead said they'd call when it came in. They never called once, instead I had to call monthly just to be told it still wasn't in. They continued to say they'd call with updates, never did. Called them yesterday to find out the windshield came in a month earlier. Never apologized for not calling. Then said the price they quoted several months earlier has changed and was now over $100 more , couldn't give good explanation why. The girl answering the phone could not have been ruder or less apologetic. Needless to say found another local place (clear vision glass) that was cheaper and came to my house that day and did a great job. Wish I discovered them 6 months earlier. read more

I called and made the appointment, we arrived a few minute before and they were done in 10 minutes at most and we were out in 15 after paying a VERY reasonable price compared to another big company.
