AVOID THIS PLACE. They replaced the windshield on my 2024 Acura and didn't install the ADAS camera properly. It failed in a few months. I took it to the dealership and they advised me the bracket was not installed properly. After multiple phone calls they finally "fixed" it under their lifetime warranty. Here we are a few months later and it has failed again but they won't repair it. Currently in the process of registering a complaint with the NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs. I will take it to the dealer and I guess I will have to sue them to recover the cost of their poor quality installation. read more

This company had the audacity to charge me $283.56 after improperly installing a windshield, my rearview mirror that has wiring falling of( luckily I wasnt driving as it swings into drivers face). Broke a piece of my mirror. Took 3 days/visits for them to correctly replace andinstall. Sam the manager is awful. Never seems to be in and is very unresponsive. Seems like he has no care for his Job and the work they perform. Thus far corporate doesnt seem any better. DO NOT GO HERE. After my windshield service I was told there were now a handful of alarms on my dashboard and they're not sure why. They told me they cant troubleshoot and id need a dealership. I took it in for troubleshooting and there were cut wires found inside my dash from the windshield replacement service. Had to spend a ton of money and a lot of time to figure out and fix the issues safelite caused. They won't answer my emails or calls about doing something to correct this. read more

Had a chip repaired in 2021. The same chip reappeared this year. I spoke with a few customer service representatives to find out that the lifetime warranty only applies to window replacements and that I would need the window replaced due to "structural integrity" costing me hundreds of dollars. Had mobile service appointment on 7/24 for 12-5 time slot. Person was so over booked, she called me a few times, but couldn't make it until 6:30. she said she could reschedule me for 7/28 8-12:30. I called the shop, as I had not heard from anyone, only to find out it was never rescheduled. My windshield had a stone chip and now it is in jeopardy of spreading. I am extremely frustrated and hope I don't need a new windshield. The cost difference is huge. A+ for the original communication, F for over booking, F for rescheduling. Technician did a good job and was able to reuse the inspection sticker. My only issue was that three windshield cowling clips were not replaced. Safelite requires this issue to be inspected under warranty. It was easier just to drive to my local dealership and buy the clips. I would have appreciated him saying, "I broke 3 clips and didn't have any replacements". read more

Horrible company who has prolonged an improper windshield in stalled in our vehicle for 6 weeks leaving our car with exposed wires. the installed windshield had a different bracket from the previous windshield. After 4 attempts, they still didn't get the correct windshield until I noticed we just needed a new plastic bracket. They said they would order it and after 10 days they haven't contacted us and the phone system keeps me in automated loops without enabling me to talk to a human. A tree branch destroyed my windshield on my car, while I was driving. Luckily I got through the event without getting hurt. I contacted Safelite to make an appointment. Safelite is very thorough. I provided my VIN, and I was given all the details that would be involved with my replacement OEM windshield. Because my car has a camera mounted under the rearview mirror, a system calibration would need to be accomplished after the new windshield was installed. So a house call was not an option. I had to take my car to the facility. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. COVID-19 protocols are practiced here. The waiting room was clean and tidy. The technician finished my windshield earlier than promised! That was a bonus. Sorry I cant remember his name! You can pay cash or credit/debit. Insurance claims are also taken care of here as well. He said he'd have the job completed in about 90 minutes. Upon completing the work, he gave me some instruction to ensure no leaks would happen. I just wanted to warn the people about the unfair practices of Safelite auto for windshield repair. I made an appointment three weeks ago for the Cherry Hill unit of Safelite to go to a place of employment to repair to chips in my windshield. They never showed up when we contacted them the first time I was told we never called when I called back to speak with the supervisor, I was told that I was a no-show at the appointment. Long story short a snowstorm hit and the chips became a crack across the whole windshield. Number one I called to complain I was basically told you need a windshield and $495 number two I once again after trying my very best to show them that a person working there made the error. I made another appointment this time for a full windshield. They were supposed to come out today between 8 AM and 5 PM. I did receive a text and a telephone call stating that we had an appointment. 3. I called Safelite at 4 PM to question whether they were still coming. I was first told we didn't have an appointment after asking for a supervisor. I was told that the person that I had been speaking with Was wrong and our technician was basically running late and wouldn't be at my house 5:30 4. at 4:30 PM. I received a text message that the technician rescheduled my appointment until Tuesday, February 6 when I pressed HELP in the text because it had that capability. I received a telephone message as well as a text "We are closed at 5 PM call back on Monday." so tell me, is this a reputable company? I will NEVE recommend Safelite to anyone. I am going elsewhere where people and their business is important. No wonder companies are going out of business when there aren't competent employees working for them. After receiving your response (below) I will say no thank you. The company was given 2 chances.... I Will take my business elsewhere. Had to have windshield replaced due to a rock damaging it. The only negative I have is the window they provide (830-530) is too long, but on the upside, the technician did call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I loved the convenience of having the windshield replaced in my driveway. The technician was great and did a great job. find it funny how the question asks "How can Safelite improve?" By the 2.2 out of 5 rating and the cookie cutter response their PR people send out, do you really think they're interested in how they can improve? By reading the reviews here, I'm far from surprised by my experience. I made an appointment online with the Cherry Hill location on 10/4 to have the windshield in my work car replaced. I planned to drop the vehicle off so they can have it all day. The appointment was made at 10:49 for the following Monday, and at 4:57pm, I get a text message saying that they arbitrarily cancelled my appointment......no reason given. This past Monday, I go up there, and I was, by far, unimpressed by their demeanor in there. The front desk staff seemed disengaged, and there were about three technicians mulling about the shop doing nothing. I explain to the young lady behind the desk how I had a company vehicle and was instructed by my fleet manager to provide his contact information so that he could provide payment over the phone and she completely disregarded what I told her. She insisted that I needed to go through the leasing company (Enterprise) and wouldn't let me set up an appointment without doing so. It seemed like she was purposely giving me excuses why they couldn't do the work. We finally got to the point to where she just asked for my information, entered it into her computer, and put in a request with Enterprise, with the promise that when Enterprise approves it, she'll give me a call........ ......Five days later, a nasty email to Safelite corporate with a promise to follow up with the Cherry Hill team, and I'm still waiting. This outfit is a joke. I'd rather spend more and go with a "mom and pop" outfit than do business with these jokers, who clearly don't want the business...... .......and yes....go ahead, Safelite. My car driver side window was smashed and although I could not get an immediate appointment at the safelite near me, they did offer to "crash wrap" the window due to an incoming rainstorm. My appointment was easy and quick, the staff were friendly and very helpful. My window looks and works like new! They also cleaned up any glass residue. I did find an online coupon that they honored. My car got a rock chip a few months back and it recently turned into a large crack. I called around and everywhere wanted to charge me $400+ for a new windshield because of my sun strip on the top and bottom of the windshield. I gave safelite a call and they had a lot of discount options so my new windshield would be cheaper. Needless to say, I got my new windshield for under $300, WITH MOBILE SERVICE! However, be honest with my because I am hearing to different stories was my part order yes or no. The manager first said no, then said we did, but the manufacture never got the order, then oh I don't know who did the order for you last week??? I was confused the order was done at your location and I spoke with someone at your location and you don't know what's going on in your store? When you are the store manager. I even got an email to come in today to drop off my car and the email is down below! I have to pay someone to take me to work to Philadelphia and back to then to be lied too be more professional. If you do not have the part ok not a problem the problem you lied and trying to make it seem like you was not the problem or like no one in your store failed to communicate with each other. Lastly, it is not my fault that I went to your place of business to get my windshield repaired and it was not installed properly then to get poor customer service later to get it back repaired. I came here for a total replacement of my windshield. I was very happy with the work done to my car and Samir was super friendly upon picking up my car and answered any and every question prior to me leaving with my new window. I did not give it a 5 star because the two ladies that sit at the front desk did not greet or make eye contact upon me entering, which made me feel lost. I looked around to see if I was suppose to grab a number and sit down etc. (And they were not on their phone with a client either). Secondly prior to my appointment I opted to receive text messages with updates on the status of my vehicle. I ended up calling the 1-800 line because one hour after I dropped my car off the status still showed "service not started" long story short my car was done in the time that I was told because I had to be at work that afternoon but for some reason the "update" texts/ check status of my car never worked. read more

My car had a very small chip in the windshield in early September 2021. I was told this was no problem to fix and had it done with no out of pocket charge since it went through my insurance. 8 weeks later I woke up to a crack completely across my windshield. I called customer service and told them what happened and they said I needed a replacement. There would be NO CREDIT from the chip repair. I asked how much this would cost and the customer service person said " your deductible is $500 so that's what you need to pay". I asked her how much the windshield cost and she said I dont know but you will have to pay $500. I called another windshield glass repair in Cherry Hill and got the windshield replaced for $300. This star increase is more for the entire Safelite company rather than the Cherry Hill store, but I thought I should follow up on my last post. So a Safelite rep reached out after I provided my contact information via Yelp. Apparently their emailed survey system had no impact since it was the Yelp posting that resulted in movement from the company. Interesting, but okay. Whatever works! The rep was extremely nice and apologetic for the incident. She wanted to make things right by offering a mobile technician or a trip back to the shop to have the service actually finished. I told her I wouldn't go back to the shop after being treated that way, and she understood, so she told me the hours for a mobile tech to come out. They coincided with my work hours -- which is tough for me but I went through with the time anyway since it was the only decent option. The day of the scheduled work, as I half expected, a conflict arose, so I called the technician hours ahead of time to let him know what time I couldn't come out to unlock my car. But sure enough, six minutes before that time, he called me to say he'd be arriving in five minutes. I reiterated that I wouldn't be able to go down and he told me to call when I was available. An hour later, I called back and he said he was at my car. I'm not sure how long he waited, but I hope not too long! He was nice in the two seconds I interacted with him. He did a great job with the car too and locked it behind him -- so alas, the work has been completed appropriately. Whew. read more

Then up and left with the comment oh well you have insurance and no solution for us and they are calling for rain. Also tried calling them. They do not accept phone calls. Negative stars should absolutely be an option here. Where do I begin? Well I'll start with the first time we brought our truck in to have the back window repaired...got an appointment promptly and had the window replaced. Two days later it rained. We had water in the slider, and exposed wiring that was left out. We bring the truck back a second time and again had the window replaced. Again, rained a few days later only this time the water leaked through so terribly that it completely destroyed the headliner of the truck. We call and advise safelite of the issue and are told to bring the truck in a THIRD time to have some rinky dink "tarp" installed until another appointment could be made for guess what? The THIRD window. To top it all off it rained again adding more damage to the headliner. Oh, yes...and we were also told to find our own detailing company to fix the damage caused by the TWO leaky windows... Went in again, for a FOURTH time to get another window put in. This has been less than an unsatisfactory experience to say the least. My husband and I are both essential employees and have had to use our limited days off to deal with this disaster. We still had to pay upwards of $500 to this company even after this headache. Tried calling corporate customer service but they just give you the run around too. I would rather have a toddler repair my next window than deal with this company. read more

Great Service! Great Prices! It doesn't get any better than having someone deliver your new windshield and install it right in your driveway. The installer, Jacob, was friendly, fast and efficient. My only (very minor) complaint is that my inspection sticker had to have a number re-written (rather poorly) in marker, and then the sticker had to be replaced on my new windshield with big, unsightly pieces of tape. I might have to go get a new one;- a very minor inconvenience, because I hate to see this blemish on an otherwise flawless windshield. Nothing about the experience would make me ever consider returning to them -- I waited two days for an appt; they broke a piece of plastic around the window; I had to call twice about them repairing that broken piece; when they did come to replace the part they broke, it wasn't the same color as my car. It took THREE visits and close to three weeks by the time the transaction was finished. I decided I would never use Safelite again except now I'm in a situation where I have another shattered car window. Made two requests for quotes and requested a phone call -- no call back after almost 24 hours. Seriously -- just pass on this place. read more
