There are no obvious signs of victory or defeat to indicate who may be winning. I went with Cumberland Farms because I noticed it with enough time to turn. The station has like eight pumps available, and a pretty big store for snacks. In addition to your regular chips and sodas, they also have hot dogs, coffee, and grab & go sandwiches. It seems to have a strong local following; the other customers seemed to know the cashier. At present, they seem to be having AC issues because it's warm in there! Not unbearable, but not for extended periods of time for people who prefer the fall or winter. There are public restrooms which are actually pretty clean, that earned this station five stars for me!

It took me 4 times of "Hello?" -- each incrementally louder-- (he was 10 feet from the door) until he turned around to acknowledge me. When I asked him about the state inspection, he said they only do it between 8a-10a, and to call back the next day. The next day, I called at 9:05am for an appointment for a state inspection. The guy told me they only do inspections from 8a-9a and they just put the computer away--and to call tomorrow at 8am to bring it in. I call back at 8am the next day and the guy told me to call back at 8:30a because they are expecting some cars that had appointments. I call back at 8:30a and he tells me he can take the car now. I bring in my car at 8:35a and he tells me to park it in front of the BIG door (garage door) and he'll get it done. There is another mechanic wandering around the garage seemingly not doing anything. The front desk guy is inside chatting with someone. I wait for 25 minutes. No one seems interested in helping. These guys clearly are not interested in earning any business. Rude, and unprofessional. I found another local garage to handle my inspection. Stay away from Lake!!
