These gowns come in a variety of styles, shapes, sizes and price tags but again for designer clothes in the formal wear arena this is a different kettle of fish compared to the other designers as you've got something absolutely beautiful to show for your purchase. The clothes are sourced from all over the world which also includes Australian designers and if you're looking for something a little cheaper there is a 1/2 price rack most times to have a rummage. They stock labels such as Bluejuice, Paradisco, Angel Biba and Sweetacacia and have a great range of casual and formal wear. The store is spacious and clean and everything is laid out well so it can be easily perused. There are a couple of large change rooms (I hate pokey ones) and the staff are helpful if you need any assistance. They also have a permanent sale rack where items are alternated and they are actually not all junk like most sale racks are; it is a good first port of call to look for a bargain. However one day my friend was over from interstate and dragges me in here when we went shopping at Harbour Town. Honestly I am so glad she did. This store stocks clothes for larger women. They only stock size 14 and upwards. So you don't have to deal with getting nasty looks from size 10 and 12's because they won't be in this shop. They ahve some really nice stuff in here. As well as some very unique clothing. I would never normally go to one of their stores at another location as they can be expensive and I just wouldn't spend that kind of money on clothes. However being at Harbour Town this is like a clearance outlet so all end of season stuff and the likes come here. I managed to get a georgous summer tank top for only $10 and a tank top for only $5. y friend bought a beautiful long dress to wear to a Xmas party for only $15! They have some amazing clothing and dresses, even some great formal wear. I will definitely be checking out the stock each time I go to Harbour Town from now on.

It's actually a feasible thing to do when each dress costs $10. There's some good stuff hiding in here though. Some of the styles are quite original, if you like patterns and lots of colour (which I conveniently do!) You'll have to be patient though - it takes effort to haul your way through the tightly packed racks, especially if you want something above a size ten (again, my suspicions about all the teenagers they're marketing at who are mostly a size 6.)

You have to search through everything until you can find something. Considering how small the store is it's very well stocked. It's just too much of a hassle to shop there. They also only tend to keep sizes 6-8. If you're lucky you will find a bigger size, but it's pretty rare.

The boutique generally stocks clothes of the dressy-casual to formal wear during winter and gets some more casual wear stock in summer and has sizes from 6 to 14. My general complaint with this store is that I don't often find clothing that I like, let alone wear, but I think that just reflects my own sense of style, as for a small sized shop, the store has a great selection. The boutique has carved itself a perfect little niche in the market and has a dedicated clientele who always drop in to check on what's new in-stock and the store updates it's Facebook page almost religiously. Staff are friendly and helpful and always offer to order in clothes if you've missed a favourite piece or need another size. So all joking aside I think you may like to use their off street parking and pop in for a good look around to see if there is something that makes you want to be gorgeous. There's a broad range of styles, all in the gown department; casual gown, formal gown, super special event almost fantasy gown... and there are great ideas to be picked up while you browse. Other than that, there's not much reason to oppose or champion this store.

The type of clothing varies depending on what you are looking for but keep an eye on the sale racks because even if you have to hunt through, there is sometimes a bargain to be found. I did find a dress for a friend's 21st there which at $50.00 was a good bargain and it is something I have worn a couple of times. Be warned there is often not a lot of sizing options available especially with the more popular styles but you are at least guaranteed to find one thing.

The quality of those dresses is another issue, everything is colourcoded which is great, but honestly... I reallllly dislike the fashion here. I can't even describe it, it's like cheap, nasty evening wear that doesn't sit right with me. I tried on a dress once and I knew it looked horrible, but the Asian shop lady insisted that I looked amazing and then tried to put it through the register as I was leaving. If you like being followed around the store being shown dress after dress after dress, then hey this is your kind of customer service heaven!

I placed an order and was told 4-6 months as the orders had slowed down at that period. I was like great I'll have plenty of time for alterations, which is good because my body is changing right now. Anyway, 6 months came and I haven't heard anything, so I called in and they said it was delayed by a month and I was like oh that's ok I'll still have time. Anyway 6 weeks passed, didn't hear anything, called them and they said it had been shipped and they'd be in contact in the next two weeks but not to worry as I had plenty of time till my wedding (none of their business). So I called them three weeks later as I hadn't heard anything, they told me it was still being made, it will be shipped soon. I was pretty angry, but kept my mouth shut cause I loved my dress. Didn't hear anything, Called 2 weeks later, said it had been shipped and it was in the next shipment, due for delivery within 7 days. Of course, didn't hear anything after 10 days so I called, they said it hadn't been shipped yet but I should "stop stressing as I have heaps of time till my wedding and it won't make a different if I call again". Anyway the dress got delayed by a few weeks, which I would only get told when I called to ask. Finally got it nearly 10 months later, leaving me absolutely minimum time to get alterations. I give it 2 stars, one for the amazing quality dresses they have and one for the fact that I was spoken to with respect and they were quite calming. If you're buying your dress here, I would definitely lie to them about your wedding date. Other than that, (and the horror stories other girls have told me about them delivering the wrong dresses) I would STILL recommend simply for the gorgeous, fantastic quality dresses in a multitude of sizes and the body positivity I experienced while in store.
