Until I decided to give it a try and I am disappointed in myself that I did not visit this store sooner. Although, it is a small grocery store compared to the popular ones we've seen. It is affordable and sometimes cheaper than other grocery stores (i.e I found my favourite Ribena concentrated drink $2 cheaper). The place is well organized and clean. The staffs are friendly and willing to help. The produce, dairy, meat/poultry/fish section looks decent. And I am definitely coming back here again.

ABUSE OF POWER This…read moreplace provides the worst customer service. Firstly, I asked for two bottles of cod liver oil capsules. The cashier gave me the actual oil. I sat in my car for 5 mins and notice I got the wrong product and the manger refused to take it back stating that he cannot resell it. The bottle was not opened and the seal was not cracked. (They don't care about the customer only their money) The manger asked the cashier if I said I wanted capsules. Naturally, she of course said no. Instead of trying to compromise the manger bluntly said he won't make a profit from taking back the oil. Secondly, the manger asked if i had common sense and if I can't read there was no return policy. Then the cashier proceeded to return the only unopened product. She started giving me cash when i had to remind her that I paid master card.  I wonder if she even heard I said I wanted capsules since she doesn't pay any attention to her job or the customers. Lastly, the cashier runs to the back to call security. Anyways both the manager and cashier ignores the security team. When I asked for the franchise owners information the manger refused and told me to call the store. I continuously asked for the number of someone at a hire ranking then him and he refused. He then bluntly told the security team that he did not ask if I had common sense. If he didn't say that this whole situation would have been avoided. The fact the he asked me if I had common sense was unprofessional, abusive, and embarrassing. I felt like he was trying to embarrass me in front of the cashier and customers. The fact that the manger was only profit oriented, unprofessional and verbally abusive saddens me to know that people like this are of higher ranking in stores who abuses their power. It's sad to know that type of abuse of power is happening especially during COVID where I'm struggling to play bills and save every penny. This is the last time I will be shopping at the store. I will be filing a report with the Bureau of Consumer Protection against this company.

The prices are very reasonable and the selection is good. The quality is outstanding. What attracted me to Mario's Meats is the availability of grass-fed beef at a reasonable price. Mario even has wild game meat in the back such as elk, bison, rabbit, venison and others. You should know that Mario's Meats offer delivery if you meet a certain minimum to make the drive worthwhile. Overall, I cannot recommend Mario's Meats enough. I'll be going back very soon for some Mennonite-raised chicken thighs and eggs, as well as grass-fed ground beef. To be clear, Mario has both, 100% grass-fed beef throughout the lifecycle of the cow and grass finished beef, whereby the cow is put on a grass-only diet during the last 3 months before slaughter.

I've typically always been a fan of the spaducci sticks from from Vincentina meats but over the years, I've noticed that the size and quality have been decreasing while the price has been increasing. Got a lead on Bonanza who truly is a meat boutique, every possible kind of meat, cut, animal, that you could want in every form (form whole lamb/rabbit) all the way down to fileted, portioned, chopped, etc. Basically if you can dream it... Bonanza can do it! The spaducci we got were easily double the size what I'm used to, and the lamb we perfectly marbled so I know when I eat these in about 6 hours they are going to be juicy, hot and delicious! It's a bit of a stretch to find the place, it's located off of Jevlan which you can access off of a side street that connects to Weston road just north of Hwy 7!
