Fortunately, there are staff everywhere to assist you. Going through security was quick after scanning our boarding pass to enter. There's an escalator that takes you up through the DF Shop to get to the gates. That shop has automated kiosks to help with those last minute purchases. There are lots of food options and shops once you get past security. You'll get a goodbye message from "Heidi" when taking the Skymetro back to the international (E) gate. Also if you are looking for high quality chocolate for cheap - Cailler, Sprungli, Frey, and Frigor are brands you can't get in the states.
