I really like the Waite Park branch of the Great River Regional Library. It reminds me of the…read moreneighborhood library I used as a child growing up. It's quaint and small and the librarians are generally quite friendly. They have a nice selection of adult and children's books and movies. The library is split into sections, one which is predominantly children and youth and the other which is adult. You can order books and movies from the library system and pick them up here. While everyone is waiting for the main library in downtown St. Cloud to open up after the recent fire, this branch is serving as a pickup spot.

Part of the Great River Regional Library system (serving 6 counties in central Minnesota & many…read morelocations), this library offers a local view of the surrounding communities. I was excited when I saw the 1909 cornerstone in the local artwork in front of the library (I thought it was a Carnegie Library). It is not a Carnegie Library. It does offer a variety of services to the public and showcases local artwork. Today is May 4 (May the Force be with you for those who don't know Star Wars lore). The librarians had an entire art board (featuring Yoda) and a giveaway for Star Wars media. Way to be in touch Librarians! Way to channel Jocasta Nu, Jedi Chief Librarian!
