They were always right there when needed. Even though the facitity is a little old it's very well kept. There were many different places for the residences to have meals as well as a few large gathering rooms for activities and visits from family and friends. Over the few days there were groups of carolers from a few area schools as well as some preschool children that put on a show. I would recommend this facility to another in the same town that we moved our family from.

They overwork their staff and it affects the level of care for patients. Residents go 6-14 days…read morewithout showers or baths, 7+ days without changing bandages on surgery sites, non-traditional diets (gluten, veggie) are "accommodated" with iceburg lettuce and two tomatoes. That's dinner. Eat up. If you can afford better, go somewhere else. If you can't, check on your loved one and be an advocate for them to the management and to the state boards of health. This is the place everyone is scared of ending up when they're old. It's terrifying.

Its our creditably that is damaged not theirs for not paying. No the facility, should be responsible even if employee leave esp. if high management positions made the agreement. My recommendation is if you have to choose them WATCH all your bills for the charges that appear make sure they really occurred an really used all those products or pills esp. for the time of being there. Staffing was low, most of the time, long waits for help when needed and private pay, skilled people were put in with long term people who were not always on the same planet as us. Not that those people could help there situation but someone trying to recover needs positive surroundings not negative situations.

The environment was clean, bright, and new-looking. A bed was immediately available and our relative settled in and the staff went to work: performing a medical assessment, and planning for physical, speech and occupational therapies. As our relative's stay progressed, our family was in constant contact with the staff who were always available. The medical care was first-rate and adjusted as our relative's condition worsened or improved. The CNAs were incredibly capable and kind. All the staff were extremely responsive, quickly answering the call light or family's requests. Staff morale seemed high; they seemed happy with their jobs and seemed to be well trained. The management seemed involved and present. We even met the manager working the front desk on a Saturday. The business office was professional and caring. As our relative's health declined and the end of life neared, the staff helped us transition to hospice care and the same expert and kind care continued to the end. In the short six weeks our relative stayed at HCR Manor Care we became friends with many of the staff who all shared in our grief, making it feel personal, even though they probably encounter it everyday. We would highly recommend this facility for rehabilitation care and nursing services.

Nurses, therapists, nurse aids and all of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The therapists were all very knowledgeable, attractive and motivating. I had a poor attitude about my chances for being mobile. The way they work you, teach you and become your friends is outstanding. They helped me to change my outlook, work hard and do extra when possible. I would recommend Harmony 100% for anyone in need of skilled nursing care, physical and occupational therapy, residence care or any other available services.
