My next purchase was for a battery maintainer, with the manger's help, he showed me their wide assortment of them. I bought the new maintainer that was going to work best for my application. Even though the manger was the person who had helped me both times, there was no storage of other store employees who would have helped with the items I needed. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. So much so that I'm willing to drive an hour from Salt Lake just to buy a car from here rather than any other dealerships in Salt Lake City. Both times Jared has made the process of buying a car simple and painless. He gets all of our information ahead of time and we are usually in and out with a new car in an hour or so. I've never experienced that before EVER at another dealership. It's always at least a day long ordeal and so many hoops to jump through to get approved. I took my truck in mid-July to have an oil leak and an A/C leak fixed. Right off the bat, the owner was upfront and told me to get A/C line dye myself and add it, saying it would save money rather than going through their shop. I appreciated that kind of honesty--it gave me hope. I was able to drop my truck off after hours, which was convenient. But unfortunately, that was the last smooth part of this entire process. I didn't get my truck back until the end of March. What happened in those 8 long months? Well, apparently their one and only mechanic quit. Then the replacement quit too. I gave them a lot of grace and time, but weeks went by with zero progress. It honestly seemed like no one else there had a clue how to work on a Ford--or maybe no one even tried. I made multiple phone calls and heard "about two weeks" more times than I can count. I went in person several times to check in. At one point, frustrated beyond reason, I even yelled at the owner and asked why they were still taking in new work if they couldn't handle what they already had. His response? A shrug, basically. I was told I could take it home and not get the work done, but finding another shop was nearly impossible since most around here only work on semis and tractors. So, reluctantly, I left it there. Eventually, they did get around to fixing the oil leak. I waited a while to write this review just to make sure it actually stayed fixed--and thankfully, it has. However, the A/C issue was not resolved. After waiting the better part of a year, I cut my losses and decided not to take it back. I'm not about to hand them my truck again only to see it next summer. Bottom line: yes, one issue was fixed. But the service, communication, and timeline were incredibly frustrating. I understand things happen--employees quit, life is unpredictable--but if you don't have the staff or time, be honest. Don't leave someone's vehicle sitting untouched for months on end. I won't be returning, and I can't in good conscience recommend them unless you're extremely patient and only need one thing fixed--maybe. The pricing was very fair. Hopefully this was only a hiccup, but do your due diligence.

We…read morealso own and love our Mitsubishi Mirage, so I looked online for months at all of the Mitsubishi dealerships and found that Cutrubus had the best price and it included a roof rack. When I called, Mark answered all of my questions and gave me an out of the door price. We drove up to Layton, and Mark explained about all of the features in the Sport. I was impressed with his knowledge. The price was exactly as quoted on the phone and that was posted on the website. So, no hidden fees. (We called at the end of January, explaining how much we budgeted for a new car, and they got extremely close to what we wanted to pay, so we made the deal.) It did take more time than I expected to do the paperwork, and they did forget to include both of our names on the title (which we had to go and fix). It was also nice that they sent our license plates to us in the mail, so that we wouldn't have to drive the 45 minutes to get there. I love our AWC Sport even after 6 months, and we get about 20 to 25 mpg on average for city driving. We easily get 45 mpg in our stick-shift Mirage, driving the freeway. Mitsubishi cars are great vehicles. Great crash ratings, inexpensive to other car manufacturers, and great gas mileage. We have owned Chevy, Kia, and Dodge vehicles in the past, but I love Mitsubishi the most.
