Villa Maria saved my mother from a life of being bedridden and helped her regain function so she could go back home. Mom needed therapy after 8 hours of back surgery. At Villa Maria she consistently received 2 hours of PT/OT per day, 6 days a week. We could only get 5 days a week at Eventide and Bethany. Villa Maria ensured Mom consistently received bladder scans to monitor her bladder retention and thus prevented anymore UTIs and backed up kidneys (this was a big problem at the other nursing home - no monitoring, only 2 bladder scans). Villa's therapists were very experienced and initiated e-stim treatments which provided Mom much need pain relief. They DID NOT just throw more narcotics at her. The admissions manager, Vicki, was a Godsend with her knowledge and experience. She facilitated Mom's transfer to Villa and helped me navigate the crisis Eventide caused my family. Villa's social worker, Sam, was a huge help with preparing Mom's discharge plan, arranging in home therapy and getting me needed documents for our Medicare appeal (that was all caused by Eventide). By the way, Villa did all this during COVID. Mom was in quarantine for two weeks, but we could visit on her iPad and sit outside the window. We could watch her with therapy and listen in. If Mom or Dad need therapy again, it's an EASY choice for us to return to Villa Maria. We can trust them and their care and that is some much needed peace of mind for me.

Its very scary and painful when they do that, and I believe that it caused permanent damage to my neck. Ignite is so different!! If you don't think the device works, then just feel it on your neck once. The people are amazing, fun, and friendly. I just love Dr. Josh and everyone there. I feel much better, and I don't hear grinding in my neck anymore. The appointment doesn't need to take a long time, and you don't need to hear a ton of cracking. It should be a process over time to allow your muscles and the rest of your body to adjust. Also, they don't just claim that it works. They measure muscles and take x-rays at the beginning and throughout the year so you can see the progress. It has been a long time since I have had a back-cracking chiropractor measure my progress. I literally mean every single person employed there truly goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that you are. As a patient and are not just a number in our well taken care of. 110% of the time you're not just another number. Some huge facilities treat you like a problem not a patient.
