My name is Kayla and I ordered from this store Jan. 19 on Monday for my mom birthday and ordered her arrangement that was a medium tray same day at 11:00 a.m to be picked up for 3:00 p.m.. So I get a phone call from the Lake Charles office while I'm on the way over there that my order isn't ready but it has been received and that call was almost at 4:00 p.m. and already had waited almost over a hour to pick it up waiting on a conformation email or text that it was ready like I received when I ordered when they received my order. She said that the store was closed and nobody was there to make the order but they did received it so someone from Lake Charles was coming all the way to make the order. So altogether I waited two and a half hours for my order and while I waited for him to come I also wasn't the only person waiting that day as well for a pickup order. What also took the cherry on top was the delivery guy dropping off fresh fruit and no one was there to pick it up a little bit after I arrived. So my fruit was molded just two days after that day and probably anyone else that ordered that day as well. As a professional chef this is highly unacceptable but what I can say is that customers service was nice and at least let me know what was going on to make sure I received my order even though it wouldn't be in a timely manner. I'm very disappointed with our purchase from Edible Arrangements. My husband ordered this for me for Valentine's Day. The first picture is what my husband ordered for me, the next 4 pictures are what we received. My husband paid 150+ for the Love Of Music bundle. What we received was pitiful and NOTHING like the picture. We received a smaller version. The chocolate covered sprinkled strawberries had like 4-5 sprinkles on them. To say we were highly disappointed is an understatement. We didn't receive the tin we were supposed to receive either. Nor did we receive the songs for sweethearts. The arrangement was much smaller that what was advertised when it was purchased. Not to mention, the fruit was extremely slimy. The version we received was maybe worth $40, if that, being the fruits were so slimy and dripping everywhere and it was super small, you can see the comparison based on my husbands hand and the size of the bear. Walked in to try to place an order (sometimes I just like face to face over the web), staff ignored me until I finally got someone to make eye contact, they were obviously not interested in helping me, two employees were having a rather candid conversation using vulgarity, and I ultimately left saying that I would think about it. Glad I didn't make a purchase after recently finding out 80 deliveries were not made on Valentines Day. I'd rather invest the money in quality fruit and find a pretty way to present it. read more

I suggest calling in before stopping by because they have certain items that are advertised as you can just pick up in the store but if they run out then you have to wait for them to make them like chocolate covered strawberries or doughnuts which are delicious. This is very disappointing. I got one yesterday. It was definitely sad. The lettuce on the bottom was yellow and welted. The strawberries were bad. They were rotten. Don't even think about eating the pineapple because they were nothing but core. In addition, I didn't get the box of chocolate covered strawberries. Called twice to confirm delivery for Mother's Day. The first time, before I could even give my name, the lady told me there were no guarantees for time and hung up on me. This lady - I don't know if she was the same - sounded exasperated and told me in the most condescending tone that there were no guarantees but if it was scheduled for today, it would go out today. Not only did I pay extra for delivery today but there was no delivery. I order Edible Arrangements for my parents in Texas all the time and have never had the issue I had today with the Baton Rouge location. If it's wasn't for the fact that the Plano location has been excellent and on time, I'd never use Edible Arrangements again. If I could give ZERO stars, that would be my choice. I ordered over $150.00 of arrangements from this location for Boss' Day. I ordered on Wednesday for a Thursday delivery. On Thursday, I had to call because as of 3:00 pm my delivery had not been made. I called and had to hit dial and redial for almost 30 minutes to get through. Once my call was answered, I was put on hold for 17 MINUTES! When I asked Tiffany, the Manager, about my delivery, I was told it SHOULD HAVE gone out. Turns out it hadn't. I don't believe they had even put the arrangements together at this point. I was told they were walking out the door at 3:10. 4:00 rolls around (mind you my business is less than 10 miles away) and still no delivery. I called back and was told he should be at my location. My delivery arrived. Two small arrangements instead of a large and small and NONE of the extra cookies I paid for. I called back again and Tiffany laughed and said it was no big deal. I was promised that they would deliver the additional cookies the next day and would give me 24 instead of 12 (sidenote: I ordered 24). Friday, NOTHING WAS DELIVERED! I called back again on Monday to ask about the cookies and again it was a laugh in my face. I was told how busy they were, etc. etc. etc. Mind you, they had no problem taking all of my money as soon as I hit place order. The cookies that were finally delivered looked like my 5 year old played with them and some were basically pieces. Again, only 12 were delivered. My one experience with location was Valentine's Day last year. I went to pick up a variety of chocolate covered fruit. The place was very busy. While waiting, I could see down the hallway where fruit was being prepared. There was a lady down there working. She had gloves on which is great.
