The fruit is always fresh, albeit the arrangements don't always follow the prototypes described on the site. For instance, an arrangement I ordered was supposed to have no apples and the strawberries to be dipped in chocolate. Instead, there were apples dipped in chocolate and bare strawberries. Thankfully, the recipient isn't allergic to any of the fruit or that'd be a huge problem. The low score is specifically to the customer service. The people seem nice and personable, but the place is poorly managed. Every time I order something from here and select a pick up time, the order is NEVER ready when I arrive. In fact, it usually takes at least fifteen minutes for me to get it after pick up time. (One time I was even purposely late by twenty minutes and it still took an extra fifteen minutes). This seems to mean they don't start making the bouquet until you are physically at the location. I think I will choose Waldorf from now on even if this location is a tad closer. read more

The only reason I'm giving this location 1 star is because you have to, to write the review. This location sucks! As many times as Ive ordered arrangements, I've NEVER had any issues until I ordered from this one! So Sunday, the day before I wanted the arrangement to be delivered I placed my order. The following day I called the shop and spoke with a gentlemen who spoke with a strong accent and confirmed to me that they received my order and I asked him if the arrangement could be delivered by 4pm bc at 430pm no one would be at the residence to accept the order. I ordered a Create Your Own for my son's birthday and this awful fruit store delivered something completely different than what I ordered. The order I placed was for $44.99 with a $5 off discount bringing the price down to $39.99. Because they were either out of 1 of 3 fruit types OR their computer system generated an order for $39.99 (not being programmed to detect discounts) my order was changed to something that's priced at $39.99. The delivery was for Sunday January 16th but they were closed due to 2 inches of snow or less! Really! Then they were closed on Monday January 17th. So now it's January 18th and I spoke to a person at the store. These people are full of lies. They deserve 0 stars. I do not recommend this location or any Edible Arrangements store. The white chocolate in the larger one was also poor taste and one pineapple had 2 strands of hair (ugh! gross!!). It's unfortunate because the senders sent them as Sympathy arrangements. Placed an online order to Upper Marlbor, Md location on Wed for a Friday delivery in Temple Hill, MD. The Birthday Pineapple Drip cake and Berries box was ordered for $67.99. Some additional things were ordered as well. This arrangement was going to be apart of a special presentation. To say the least I was very disappointed, dissatisfied and disgusted at what my daughter recieved on Friday. It most certainly did not represent what I ordered from your website and it was missing items. Plus every piece of fruit was damaged. I wish I could post the pics for you to see. If I could give zero stars I would. The arrangement was left on my front porch because I was not home to receive it; it was 95 degrees outside. The arrangement was not packaged in ice or anything that would keep it fresh. I found it several hours later on the side of my porch. The chocolate melted and ants were crawling through the entire arrangement. I called edible arrangements in Upper Marlboro. It was extremely difficult communicating with the employee. I finally got out of our conversation that the manager would call me back. Two days later, after not hearing from a manager, I called back. This time I spoke to the manager and told him about the situation. He said he had contacted the purchaser and she said to leave it. The person who purchased the arrangement had no idea it wasn't packaged properly for the weather and most likely couldn't even understand the delivery driver. Needless to say Edible Arrangements in Upper Marlboro refused to replace the arrangement. I made it clear I would be writing a poor review on Yelp. In a nutshell they arrived at my house Mothers Day at 8:45 p.m. and brought me deflated balloons, and forgot my mugs. I placed an order online with this store. After hitting submit a prompt told me that I should be getting a confirmation email shortly. I waited a few hours and nothing came through but the money was taken out of my account. I called the store and the person on the other end tells me that he's going to push the confirmation email through. My main concern was a delivery window because I wanted to make sure someone would be home when they deliver and I expressed that to him. He said that someone would call me before they deliver. The next day (delivery day) I realized I still didn't get a confirmation email. I called the store back and a woman answers this time telling me I will not get a confirmation email until the delivery is made which doesn't make sense to me. Ah said if I wanted one I would have to come into the store and they can print it out. I told her that wasn't what I was told yesterday and they had no problem taking the money out of my account. The guy I talked to yesterday comes on the phone and says that they don't send confirmation emails when you pay online. Again I said this doesn't make sense. I placed a order for May 6 the night before. I called the morning of to see around what time the orders would be going out. I had to call numerous times before someone picked up. The lady that answered the phone told me that the orders went out but she would not know exactly when my package would be dropped off. Which was fine this was around 2 o'clock. I have never had such horrible customer service! I placed an online order and I called the store to ask the estimated delivery time. He said the delivery time was between 3 and 6. The associate was very rude when I asked if it could be delivered by 3 because the business would be closed after (Elementary school). His exact words were "I will send my driver at 12:30 but don't ask for the time again" I didn't think I heard him correctly so I asked him to explain again. When he did and I was clear on what he said I said ok and I hung up. He then called me back to ask if I hung up on him! I asked him was he not done talking ? He had said that I wasn't allowed to ask for times and that he would send his driver out this time early "but don't ask again". After hanging up I called the customer service line where I was told I could file a complaint but she recommended I waited to see if I got the item first. As if yo say if I file a complaint he may purposely not deliver my items on time. This made me feel even more uncomfortable and I asked her to cancel the whole transaction. The representive called the store and cancelled my order and I asked if he would not call me back at all. This was a horrible experience and I'm so unhappy with the service on both levels.
