It's a beautiful place to say the least. It's wonderful that Piqua had the insight to save this building. We stopped in because they had an art show on the second floor that we wanted to see. I mean I liked it there but it wasn't as good as Heywood.The principals here are nice and they can appreciate anyone.I have met most of my friends here and I have gotten into gifted education aka GATE Enrichment Classes.And the only downside is no air conditioning.

It was a pleasure to enjoy this with Taylor and talk to her about her school. They also offered a book sale and we bought a number of books for Taylor to read. Next she walked me to her class and she gave me a gift she had made and showed me her class room. I was very pleased to see the school, to visit with a few of the teachers, to talk to some old friends and most of all, to spend precious time with Taylor. Thank you Heywood!

We have operated a before and after school daycare for kindergarten-5th grade students since 1994. In 2012 we opened Smart Start Preschool within our facility. The Rec is available to be rented out on weekends for birthday parties, reunions, weddings, community groups, family gatherings, etc.
