Notably: HMC stands for Hamilton Mennonite Church AND Huber Mennonite Church - For a second I was like whoa where did he get an HMC shirt, and then my brain clicked in ;)

There are multiple services, I attended the later service focused on a contemporary format. I highly recommend this church due to the numerous programs available to all ages. The schedule is diverse to accommodate your family. Regarding children's programs, my kids wanted to go back! Great church which allows you to "come as you are" without all the hype of driving up their membership numbers.

It is not an exaggeration to say that we loved the Antioch School so much we relocated across the…read morecountry for it. We were a family living in Los Angeles, raising 2 young kids and had learned enough about the values of grit, self-directed learning, and raising empowered kids that we knew the right school environment was of the utmost importance to us. The problem was, the only kinds of schools in Los Angeles that offer that kind of education cost LITERALLY 20-30 thousand dollars a year. For PRESCHOOL. That is insane, and it was impossible for us to consider. But when we discovered the Antioch School, their incredible teachers, the grounds, the philosophy, the history, etc. AND saw that it was not only much less expensive, but offers financial aid to nearly 50% of it's students, it sealed the deal for us. We moved here and have had our oldest in the school for 2 years and his transformation has been incredible. Getting to watch his social skills and capacity for play and learning, trying new things, etc. It's the greatest gift we could give him (and ourselves as parents.) If you're a parent who believes that the modern public system of over-testing and lack of exploration for kids is NOT the solution to raising well-adjusted, smart, capable kids or if you believe that playing outdoors is more important than spending 8 hours a day at a desk, this is the school for you. And you won't find a better one for hundreds of miles around.

We have had our daughter enrolled at Primrose for over a year now and could not be happier with the…read morestaff, facility, and curriculum. We moved to the area and had her enrolled in a different daycare waiting for her slot at Primrose to open and could not get her out of that short-term location fast enough. At Primrose, we get a daily report emailed to us about what they did that day, food served along with what amounts she ate, and diaper changes. At both drop off and pickup, our daughter smiles, waves, or hugs the staff - its obvious to us that she is well cared for and feels safe and comfortable there. The classroom divisions by age/development have been great. You don't have to worry about a cattle-like situation of a room full of 50 1-5 year olds. I personally prefer that this location is a locally owned franchise. The owner is there daily, and she has a stake in the success of the school. The other location was a corporate run daycare where top to bottom the staff seemed to be at a job they could take or leave. In the year we have been there we have seen little to no turn over and promotions within the current staff. This was important since the place she was before had a different person at pick-up every other day.
