There is plenty of parking. Some decking style docks along river to stroll, a gazebo, a few shelters & picnic tables (no grills) there is a very nice bathroom facility near the oversized Children's fabulous playground with swings. Plenty of signage depicting the history with photos along with name plaques for the trees. Some beautiful wildflowers and wildlife including plenty of ducks with babies. Definitely a great little place to enjoy some fresh air. There is also a shaved ice truck and you can rent paddle bikes for the river. Several nice memorials including one of President JFK

I have placed this place every day in my past and never knew it was there. The parking lot is FREE and its great to stop here and take a quick little hike. This is a four seasons hiking park which is very nice. The trails are nice and the scenery is lovely. I wish I had found this place sooner, cause I would have definitely spent more time hiking in this lovely park. It is so peaceful and so quiet with different flowers and trees to love. The traffic is crazy sometimes trying to get out of the parking lot, but other than that..definitely worth it. Definitely worth the quick 30 minutes hike.

Due to the steep elevation it is a bit of a tough area, but it is geologically interesting and quite a pleasant green space. Crossing the paved trail at the bottom leads to some fairly modest views of the river, which is mostly obscured by thick greenery (at least in summer).

Great free park to enjoy right off I-68 exit 1 make left onto Route 119 into Morgantown. Just past GoMart on the right is Fawley Ln. Great park for hiking, letting kids on playground, picnic, walking your dog or just reading a book and relaxing...enjoy!!!August 26th, 2020 Tony and I had a late lunch after a morning of hiking. Tony drank a few cold Budweisers and I had unsweetened tea with lemon. Tony ordered a Philly Cheese steak with fries and I ordered the Open Face Roast Beef with mashed potatoes and gravy. Peaceful 170-acre park in the Morgantown hills not too far off the beaten path. White Park consists…read moremostly of unpaved walking trails and several adult and youth-sized baseball fields. Supposedly the entire park encompasses five miles of trails. Everything I saw was pretty easy walking with gentle inclines. I was able to park (for free) in an enlarged shoulder of the road just off of Mississippi St and access the trails right away, but there aren't clear trailhead markers or maps to let you know where you are. In fact, maintenance seems to be pretty hands off. Watch your step right after the rains as things can get muddy and slippery! I didn't see much by the way of wildlife while walking around, but the Cobun Creek Reservoir is a nice backdrop for the fall foliage. There were wooden benches every now and then for resting and enjoying the scene. Ran into a few other locals walking their dogs, trail running, or just enjoying a mid-day stroll.

Loved this campground! I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because they need some trees on the tent…read moresites. They get full sun and there's no shade. Other than that this place was perfect. The camp store was really neat too! They had just about everything you could need and more. I'd definitely stay here again.

We visited the koa which came with a complimentary pass to mylan park facilities. We used the pool…read moreand sports complex. The sports comolex is NICE. I wish there was something like this around me. A giant gym with basketball hoops, soccer nets, pickle ball courts, and a bin of balls for public use. Everything was well taken care of. There was A LOT of construction going on while we were there, making it difficult to actually reach the facility. We went to the pool almost every day. Thr hours are super weird, so be sure to check the schedule. Some times they have the splash pad open, others everything is closed for classes. They have a wristband system to keep track of which water slide kids could use. That was only in place for maybe 20 minutes during our first visit. Some kids were given bands, others weren't. The problem was nobody was there to measure kids most if the time, so they probably need to rethink this system. The pool itself was fairly warm, making it easy to get right in. We enjoyed our time at both places and hope to make it back some time soon.

The Dents Run Historical Covered Bridge was built in 1889. It's one of the few remaining Covered Bridges in WV. Measures 12 Feet by 10 Feet wide and 40 Feet long. It's not in operation, but just pasted the bridge is a nice wide spot to park about 3 cars. There is no picnic area but it's very quiet here. A very lovely place to visit.

This is a huge park! Over 45 acres and includespool, water slides, baseball fields, playgrounds…read more(two of them!), basketball courts, and a huge soccer field. The tennis complex has six courts, two of which have lighting available. The skate park looks to be in good shape as well. It was nice to have a good walk around on the trail system and there are public restrooms available though they were locked when I visited. Mr. Furley has his own statue in Morgantown! OK, it's actually Don Knotts, but to me, he will…read morealways be the landlord in Three's Company, on his way to the Regal Beagle to pick up some hot chicks. Don Knotts was born and raised in Morgantown, went to school at West Virginia University, and started his career as a ventriloquist at the Metropolitan Theatre in downtown Morgantown. His statue sits outside of the theatre building. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would guess that Don is probably one of the most famous people to come out of this West Virginia town. Certainly the most famous person from Morgantown to wear ascots and polyester leisure suits on television. The statue is on a busy one-way street, but you'll need to park across the street at one of the metered spots, or in one of the parking lots. This is a busy college town, so finding parking can be a chore, but Ralph Furley is worth the little bit of effort.

Any fan of Don Knotts should make the trek here in Morgantown, which was the TV legend's hometown…read more It was unveiled here in 2016 in front of the theatre where he started out as a ventriloquist. He of course would become best known for his roles on "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Three's Company" and others. But he always had the goofy look that even though no one took very seriously, was still lovable and is a reminder of how he always made us laugh. It's on a busy downtown street, but its not far from a paid lot.
