Went from a 4 bedrom, 2 bath 1,350 sq ft home to a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath 2,400 sq ft townhome. The…read moreproblem? I can't fit my stuff in a place that is supposed to be 1,000 sq ft. more. Luxury? Must mean the ice maker doesn't work, the dishwasher leaks, the handle comes off the sink, there is one trash location with two bins for 140 townhomes so trash is always overflowing, the busted gym equipment, no water hose hookups. Everything in the townhome is cheap, the 4 different types of 80s ceiling fans, the fencing that is made of plastic, the roads that have potholes forming, lumpy and hilly. This place I know is going to be a disaster in the winter also the pool is tiny Did I mention I pay $1650 in WV for this luxury? So what is luxury? The bathrooms in the front office and the front office itself are pretty nice. There is a playground and basketball court and that's all I have. So why did I pick this place, it was sight unseen moving from Texas, I needed a what I thought was going to be a bigger place, a decent pool, working gym equipment, modern fixings, and dog friendly...which on paper this place looked like it would be. The only thing that is legit, is I have my dog here.

They don't enforce people picking up after their dogs, and they don't have any number other than the main number to call if issues arise. For a place that is supposedly luxury, they don't provide blinds for their units, regular mowing of the grass, cleaning before move in(but they do charge previous tenants for it), grounds cleaning, or luxury finishes in the units. They do a really poor job of running a business and just about everything else!!! I will be moving as soon as my lease is up!

I usually spend the entire day at Nemacolin or Ohiopyle after going here or just stay the night somewhere locally. It's such a lovely area with so much to do. I also love going to the Historic Summit Inn afterwards or before since it's on the way in and way out for drinks and apps in the small bar area. The tour is beautiful and insightful plus the gift shop has a lot of cool items and souvenirs. Go check it out if you're ever in the area.

I have placed this place every day in my past and never knew it was there. The parking lot is FREE and its great to stop here and take a quick little hike. This is a four seasons hiking park which is very nice. The trails are nice and the scenery is lovely. I wish I had found this place sooner, cause I would have definitely spent more time hiking in this lovely park. It is so peaceful and so quiet with different flowers and trees to love. The traffic is crazy sometimes trying to get out of the parking lot, but other than that..definitely worth it. Definitely worth the quick 30 minutes hike.

You sit, relax, and watch your dog tear the fur off another dog's back. FIDO'S is spacious, with plenty of seating areas. It's wooded but well maintained with a fence that goes around the perimeter. The grass is always kept short, and isn't isn't littered with piles of dog poop everywhere. I will say it's on a slope, so mud is a problem, but dogs love mud. Note, keep driving up the walk way/road, you'll literally run into it, and there is a little bit of a parking area on the gravel. The park closes at dark, which makes the summer days long. Overall, I was pretty impressed. For a dog park in Fairmont I wasn't expecting much but I really love the view, atmosphere and space this dog park has to offer. There's a separate area for big dogs and little dogs. They also provide doggy-poop-bags at the entrance.
