She also takes donations and I started taking them to her. I have found lots of jeans for my kids, shoes for me , dresses for my sister, and they always have a great selection of furniture. This store is not even a mile away! Amanda and Jerry are the couple who own this shop. Not too small, not too big, but clean, well-stocked, and orderly. All their stuff are amazing to browse and buy. I could not believe that most of what I needed were available to buy. I got a blowdryer, a dinner bowl, and an extension cord all just for $6. Amanda was such a friendly and helpful store owner. She is in a wheelchair but that does not hinder her from her hospitality and helpfulness. I know we have the large thrift stores and shops we mostly frequent but I call on all especially locals to visit this shop first. You will never regret it. I also shopped while enjoying the amazing amabience - music playing...soothing candlescent...postive and friendly vibe... My friend bought a dress there a couple of days ago and told me about it, so I popped over since it was close to my hotel. The lady working there (the owner?) was very friendly and professional, she helped me pick out a great top to go with the pants I bought. She even threw in a free pair of earrings, which was awesome. Reasonable prices too, the pants were only like $30 and they're good quality and comfortable. 10/10, highly recommend if you find yourself in downtown San Antonio. I will come back someday!
