I can't express how grateful I am for Dr. Morris. She is phenomenal and has a broad knowledge of mental health challenges. She is the first Doctor who has been able to look at all of my mental health challenges as a whole and treated them effectively. She has helped effectively treat me as well as knowing how to duke it out with insurance when needed. The only gripes I have are that it can be difficult to contact the front office, though I suspect this is not their fault and have a high patient load. read more

Edmond psychiatric association caused me significant mental health problems. I saw them one time and had an appointment scheduled for 3mo out when my medication would run out. Apparently I was dismissed from their care without notification. When my pharmacy called 3x to have my medication refilled. during this time I never received my appointment notification or link to my presumed video appointment so I called the office. I never received a call back. I called two more times over the span of a week and still had no answer or knowledge I was no longer a patient . This resulted in my running out of medication and scrambling to try and find a psychiatrist. i have had to take time off of work as a result of not having medication. I have a receipt from paying up front for services so I'm very confused about what happened. As far as I am concerned this constitutes patient abandonment which is a serious ethics violation in my field at least. read more

Office staff needs an overhaul!! They don't want comments because they are bad. They steel money & cancel appts without notice & that's ok to them. When they do this or more to a patient, it's ok. They stole $275 & cancelled my appt. No notice. Still no refund from Nov 2024. B/C called them 2-3 times, still nothing. Time to call again. Go elsewhere!! read more

Update: they charged me $100 for missing an appointment because I was in the ER. They gave me no warning and it has maxed out my card after they told me they would look into disputing it they just charged it to me with no warning. Dennis Harvey is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen, the front desk people are not. They never pick up the phone, ever it's always auto voicemail and I've even begged them to pick up in voicemails and they never do. I've been charged missing appointment fees for them not answering or responding in time twice, again great doctors not great staff. I really want to like them because they are all very friendly but if you have PTSD responses to being ignored this place is not safe for you. read more

Not sure how the rest of the office is but if you're looking for rTMS, this is the place to go. Dr Morris' assistant, Kayla, has been amazing to work with. She truly cares about the patient's wellbeing. She is compassionate, caring and knows her stuff. I've had the honor to work with her four days a week for 6 weeks and I'm sad to say, she'll truly be missed after my treatments are complete. rTMS has significantly lowered my Beck score and brought a certain brightness back to my life. I've been with place for 5 years and never once have i been able to speak to anyone , w out leaving a message first , even trying to go thru their portal , as they also suggest , and reaching out to Jennifer Morris , who has no clue what goes on , but yet signs the termination of patient letters , because " you don't like our office policies " , what a joke , it's gotta be a canned letter because I'm certain they send several The day this all occurred was 8/19 when I attempted to call and left vms and used their portal , trying to see if my appt was online or in office , as I had not been given that on a vm from prior week , so had to drive to the office , after working 14 hrs night shift , d/t them not answering their phone , to be spoken too like some criminal by the tall lanky guy in the office, also being criticized by him , for not remembering a name. I had just been charged a $100 no show fee , prior, for having to wait on hold and finally having to hang up because a class at work was about to begin , and no way I could call the office back , because guess what , they don't answer their phones , so I did send an email to Jennifer about it , who didn't even respond to it , as if that was any surprise too, even emailed the office staff and the PA thru the portal, and didn't reply either , I was already in the process of looking for care elsewhere , I just needed some meds so I made this last appt w this office , to get a refill, as I know it takes time to get restablished by another office first , and we were heading out for vacation also, so it's not like this was a big loss to me when I came back from vacation to this canned letter. I had already requested my records online , prior to my appt on 8/19 , the reason for moving to another office for care was mainly because not getting any communication from the office timely , for 5 years , and the office staff thinking it's okay ... god forbid should you have an emergency This place is a menace to anyone needing psychiatric care , they don't care about the patients. They also have two big dogs in the office , of which at one time were mating w each other while I was there one time for an in offices appt, and I love dogs , but at least clean up the carpet of the urine and feces stains , if you are going to have dogs in the office and patients coming in who can see the area clearly . Again this is no big loss to me , but I am notifying and leaving this review so people are aware of how you will be treated if you come here and or question their policies , about not answering their phone or portal messages read more

This place is a joke. I've unfortunately been going to them for years and every other month they have new nurses who can do the bare minimum and nothing else. When you offer IV services, you need medical staff that can actually get an IV in. I'll admit I'm a hard stick but I specifically took measures to ensure it would be less difficult for them. I've also been getting IV infusions for YEARS and have never had an issue getting the IV until I started getting them here. There have been three nurses within the past year who got the IV in me, and nearly double that -tells you how frequently they were replaced- who couldn't. In the years that I've gone to this practice, I have always paid promptly (at my visit, no later) and have never had any cancellation fees or anything of the sort. I cancel ONE TIME 19 hours before the appointment (cancelled 4:30pm the day before an 11:30am appointment) and get a $150 late cancellation fee because it was less than 24 hours. FIVE HOURS LESS. When I was on the phone cancelling, they didn't even advise there would be a fee - I would have just gone to the appointment! I thought I was doing them a favor not wasting their time, but instead, I get penalized. When I call to ask for it to be waived this one time -I've never had billing issues, never had a late cancellation/no show fee in all the years I've gone - I was told that Dr. Morris had to cancel a flight so they wouldn't waive it! Why would anything have to be cancelled for an appointment made 1-2 weeks in advance, first of all? Second of all, how would FIVE HOURS have made a difference? Not only that but on at LEAST two occasions, they called me the SAME DAY (or the day before -less than 24 hours before) to reschedule appointments because someone dropped the ball on ordering the medication. Did I get a $150 credit for those instances? OF COURSE NOT. And I had to work around my work schedule after requesting the time off to attend the treatment (that takes a minimum of 2 hours). This place has next to no compassion and are just drug pushers for all the new meds they get samples and commissions for. They NEVER even recommended additional treatments such as TMS when my current treatment plan was clearly not working. Obviously, they'd rather push the pills and get more money than help treat. I had to ask about TMS and was only seriously talked to about it when I was in TEARS because I couldn't get my IV infusion due to the incompetency of their nurses. If I could give zero stars, I would. I wouldn't recommend this practice to my worst enemy. They're only out for themselves and the money they can make. read more

How this place is still in business boggles my mind. The front office staff is rude. Communication is difficult, if not impossible. If I could leave zero stars I would. This office is all about the money, they do not care about their patients. Their biller, Lisa, loves to reach out and harass you for the money as well. I was charged a no show fee for an appointment that my doctor didn't even show up to. I called front office staff letting them know my phone was on 4% and I had no access to a charger. I waited 30 minutes until my phone died and I had still not been seen. I spoke with Lisa about the fee, just to be told she always keeps a charger with her and that maybe I should do that too. This is no way to treat psychiatric patients and $100 fee is a little much. I left a voicemail for Emily, the office manager five months ago and still have no received a call back. I plan to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office and I hope this office gets shut down. read more

One star isn't low enough. I was charged a $180 no show fee for a telehealth appointment I missed because THEY did not answer the phone. As I had a balance, I could not schedule an appointment, so I could not get my medications refilled. I left numerous voicemails and never once got a call back. I wound up having to take off work to drive 30 minutes to their office to talk to someone about my balance because I had one day of my medication left. I spoke with Lisa and she is one of the rudest and most dismissive people I have ever met in my entire life. I was treated so poorly that another staff member pulled me aside to apologize on her behalf. THIS OFFICE IS MONEY HUNGRY AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. read more

I would NOT recommend this clinic to ANYONE, ever. What an absolutely horrible experience. After verifying that Dr. was in-network, I was assigned an 'alternate provider' on arrival but assured that this provider was also in-network. I was then told I had to take a drug test (like a criminal) to see the provider and if I refused I would be responsible for the appointment cost in full, rather than it being billed to my account. I agreed. Then I was told I would not be prescribed the medication I had been taking successfully for 6 months without clearance from a cardiologist, which I had never seen. I was given a script for a new drug and a follow-up appointment of 90 days! I advised that I generally have a hard time with prescriptions, but they assured me this was standard care. After the first few days of a severe reaction, I called and was told to "give it a few more days" which ultimately led to coughing blood. I again called and this time they wanted to schedule an appointment with the same provider to discuss. On the day I was scheduled for my appointment, I received a bill that the 'alternate provider' was not in-network so the previous appointment and the drug test I was required to take were not covered, so I would be responsible for a Large bill. After calling and leaving 3 messages and still being unable to get through to a real person, I drove to the clinic to explain, and instead of compassion I was looked up and down and told I didn't know what I was talking about and that my insurance always pays, eventually. read more

Chester Hendershot was the only reason I had stayed with this horrifically mismanaged office for as long as I did. The front office is lazy, entitled, and outright evil. On over a dozen occasions in my two years under Chester's care, my phone calls were never received or returned. The only way to get into communication with this office is to go there physically. In addition to this office's lack of dependable communication, they consistently misplaced or flat out lost documentation. I am shocked that a mental health clinic would make everything surrounding care so cumbersome. Now that Chester has left this clinic, I would absolutely recommend that you avoid this office at all costs. read more

UPDATED: SEE PHOTO ATTACHED!! WOW!! It looks like Dr. Morris ACCEPTS WAY MORE MONEY FROM PHARMACEUTICALS THAN OTHER PSYCHIATRISTS!! I just found this interesting since so many reviews claimed of pill pushing!!‍ DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! The bottom line is there's a lack of communication relaying messages and extremely rude staff!! Even though you see a physician's assistant or therapist. (There are 3 or 4 of them, and the two I've worked with have been GREAT!!), but there is only one doctor (Dr. Morris) writing the actual prescriptions for all of the PAs. You only see Dr. Morris one time, and I highly doubt she remembers any of the patients she is actually writing scripts for, or this process wouldn't be SO DIFFICULT!!! I don't know if they are too busy to communicate with each other or what, but they can't get the dosage right, and this is twice now that I've been stuck without ANY ADHD medication for over a week! I cancelled my next appointment, and will find a doctor that can actually prescribe the medication they recommend for me, since everything seems to be lost in translation at this place! read more

I love Chester. He's too good for the place. As for the front office--the last woman I spoke to was a joke. She tried to make me pay $150 the day of my appointment. She then went on to ask if I have insurance in the most judgmental way possible. Which I do but I haven't met my deductible yet so I asked her to bill it to me... then she said I have to pay at the end of the week. Which now is lie number 2. $150 isn't pocket money for everyone. ANYWAYS I've had about 5 emails and 5 texts today about an "outstanding balance" which is absolute bullshit considering my appointment was YESTERDAY. I blocked both texts and emails. I'm sure the receptionist had something to do with this--so if you're reading this receptionist heartless lady then I hope you know that your little petty move didn't work. Also go see a psychiatrist--they do wonders. read more

I loved my therapist, but the business part of it was run very poorly. I could site multiple complaints, but my final day there, I was completely humiliated in front of approximately 10 waiting patients by the Office Manager, Steve Fleming. He belittled me, imitated me (in a negative light), rolled his eyes at me, told me off then walked away. Not only was he LESS than professional, his clothing and hygiene were a terrible reflection of the lifestyle he must lead outside work. The therapists offices are beautiful, as well as the waiting area, yet the business office in the center of the building is dirty, cluttered and reeks of cigarette smoke and body odor. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST STAFF I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE... You are wasting your time, money, and energy with this office and the way they run their practice. **I will be taking the appropriate actions and measures to have my entire medical record released to me.** I have seen Dr. Morris once while being a patient at this clinic. She was great during our first (and only appointment). I had labs taken and received my results a few days later. The medical assistant was then to fax them to my other healthcare providers so I could better be treated and managed by them. It has been 3 weeks since I was last in the office and seen and it has been 3 weeks since my labs have been taken. My other doctors have tried for these last 3 weeks to get ahold of the office and let them know that they could not read the fax with my lab results... over and over this same process went on. Today, I decided to go to the office to have them printed out so I could take them to my doctor so I can start medication treatment for my severely under active thyroid. When I arrived, I very calmly asked to speak to someone who could help me get my lab results and the glass windows were slammed in my face. I then calmly asked for an office manager and they continued to yell at me saying that they would only help me after their lunch break was over (in 10 minutes), that i needed to leave their office right now, that they were going to call the cops on me... I pleaded with them and was holding my 1 year old child and kept repeating "please I just need my lab results so I can be treated by my other doctor". At this time, Alicia, the medical assistant and Lisa, the general clerk, ignored me, laughed, and walked out of the office to go smoke outside. The office manager, Steve Flemming (who is also Jennifer Morris' husband), got up from behind his desk and was screaming at me telling me if I needed help to go to the ER instead. I tried to explain that I couldn't do that with my child nor did I want to/ couldn't afford to spend anymore money on something that I have already paid for... he then told me that I was a fucking ass hole and said "What kind of mother are you... bringing your child into your ass hole like actions...". I then replied that I was a mother who had no other options. He laughed at me and then walked out of the office as well. I called back later to try one last time to get my lab results and Alicia answered. She informed me that they have done their jobs getting my lab results sent over and it wasn't her problem that they couldn't read the fax. She then told me that I could get my results online... WHY DIDNT SOMEONE TELL ME THAT FROM THE VERY START SO I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THIS TAKEN CARE OF A LONG TIME AGO? I thanked her and apologized for any indecent behavior on my end and wanted to talk to the office manager to say the same... she laughed and told me that the office manager was not in at this time and that he was the one that called me an asshole... and that he was MY DOCTORS HUSBAND. She then fired me as a patient and hung up. First of all... what they did to me was illegal. It is illegal for them to withhold my patient information from me. Second of all, I had no idea that they were on lunch... their entrance doors were unlocked and no additional signages were posted letting the patients know that they were on lunch. I have never in my life been treated so terribly by people who get paid to help you. This is office is a joke. I was a patient of Dr. Morris for 4 years. When I first began to see her she was wonderful. The last year or so I have felt like my concerns are brushed off, and I am given the same medication to try that I have said I do not want to take. Every appointment it was sample after sample. I needed FMLA certification from her, and the form they sent back to my employer was illegible. My employer contacted her office, and they faxed back a copy of it saying, " If you can not read this, find someone who can." How unprofessional!!! I also had a bill with Dr. Morris because I had continued to see her even when my insurance didn't cover her because I thought she had the patient's best interest. I had to reschedule an appointment in April, and tried for two weeks to get in touch with Amy, the office intake coordinator (a joke). I never signed a payment agreement, but was making payments at every appointment which was every month. I did not make it in the office in April because no one would return my calls. On Monday, May 2, they finally called me back and stated I would need to pay half of my bill which would have been $240 before I could schedule because I didn't make my April payment. I argued with Amy because I would have made it if someone would have got me scheduled or answered the phones. The office staff always always made coming to the office a nightmare. So very rude, talking about patients in front of other patients, talking down to patients, and adding so much extra stress. I would think as doctors of a mental health practice, they would take so many complaints about the office staff, and do something to better care for patients. I told Amy that I would make my payment when I was scheduled and make my regular payment. I sent Dr. Morris a message complaining about the office staff, and the next week received a letter terminating me. Find somewhere else!!!! read more

Wish that could give negative stars - definitely do not even deserve the 1-star - worst patient care and providers ever... only saw the actual MD once for less than 10 minutes, do not care about patients, only about receiving payment and even that is difficult to accomplish. They are completely incompetent from provider to administrative staff. Do not ever respond to phone calls, messages, or any other methods of communication. Additionally, missed a significant diagnosis and medication management. Can not recommend MORE strongly to avoid this clinic. read more

I have seen Dr. Morris for about 15 years. She is amazing! She has taken such great care of me and pulled me through some very difficult times. Her staff always calls me back and is professional. This is the worst group of physicians I have ever encountered. The PA put my 13 yr old on an antidepressant and when I called to speak to leave a message to communicate that he was not doing well on it the office staff informed me that the only way to communicate was an office visit. She refused to give me any other option to communicate my concerns with the PA, Vaden. The nurse , Alisha, then accused me of yelling at her, which i was not, agitated yes, yelling , no. I requested for him to be taken off of the medication or for her to change at the appointment, and she would not do either. 4 days later we admitted him to a mental health facility, for his safety. I sent an email to this office requesting a letter with a titration plan so that we can get him into a long term treatment program, with no response Two days after email I called to see if I could come and pick up a letter. The nurse informed me that they had not had time, and they would let me know when they did. I let her know that this was not acceptable. They had sufficient time She hung up on me. I called back and left a message that I would be there to pick it up. When I arrived they refused to give me his letter and his test results I requested for his ADHD and anxiety. I was asked to leave and told they were not giving me anything i requested The nurse, smirked and gave me a waving hand gesture to get out. I refused. I sat down and said I would wait all day. Then dr Morris came out and asked me to go outside she also refused to give me a letter and told me to leave or she would call the police. Which I invited her to do. When I explained that I had sent an email with a request and that her nurse was in a power trip. That my ex husband was having the same issues with her, she would not listen and continued to tell me to leave. I will be filing a complaint with the medical board. I have never seen an office that is ran this way. Especially when they are prescribing medications to children that can cause suicidal ideation and attempts. read more

Today is not a great mental health day for me and after leaving a short message to them they called me back within 30 min asking me to come in today and truly felt bad that I'm feeling crumby. Man, this is not a good place for mental healthcare at all. I have been a patient of Edmond Psych for a little over a year now. I have a therapist named Darcy who has actually been pretty good. She is intelligent and has been helpful. I had a psych named Ashley who ended up moving to Colorado with no notice, and the psych office failed to contact any of her patients to tell us this. I just stopped receiving texts confirming the appointments that I had scheduled. I went up there in person to schedule a meeting with a new psych, and when my appointment came around I received no contact. I called them and filled out multiple forms on their website, but no one reached out again. The staff is routinely rude when you simply ask them to do their job. They do not treat people with mental health issues with respect as they should, which is the bare minimum for their profession. There has been an extreme amount of unprofessionalism exhibited by the front staff to me and others, based on reviews, on multiple occasions. This place has some pretty solid therapists and psychs, but they ABSOLUTELY need to fire the vast majority of the heartless assholes that do not even have enough compassion to be a waitress at Denny's. Seek out other alternatives as opposed to this place. I am sure there are other psychiatrists who have front offices that aren't run by actual goblins. It was damaging to my mental health to be functionally ghosted by my psychiatrist, and I ran out of my medication. I am bipolar, so I am very glad I did not go manic and commit property crimes at Edmond Psych. They got lucky this time. read more

Although I have always been happy with the PA I see, the office staff has frequently treated me as if having a mental illness automatically makes me incompetent and intellectually-challenged. They assume I don't know what I am talking about, even when that is (clearly) not the case. They have talked down to me *multiple* times as if I am incapable of comprehending English. They have overcharged me by hundreds of dollars because they (accidentally?) double-billed for lab work and didn't "catch it" until after they tried to make me pay it, and I questioned the charges. I have recently received a bill that shows charges for dates of service on which I didn't even have appointments. I contacted their billing office a week ago and still have not heard back from them. I have now (also, as I see someone else has also had this problem) been waiting for almost two weeks for a script. I have *loved* the provider I see (thank you Rachel), but I am leaving this practice because of everyone and everything else I have to deal with in other ways. read more

I've been to my fair share of hundreds of doctors. Especially for mental health. Dr. Morris up and dropped me because I demanded a legal letter from them on the day I REQUESTED to get it. I had given the office staff A month, had an appt dr said she would have my letter in 2 days. Come monday, 3 business days later after my appt. I go to the office after I have called them telling them what I was coming for. Again the front desk people were very rude to me and said to even have that letter made I needed an appt. I said "NO" and told the whole story again to them. For someone with very unstable meds because she changes them so often; for her to just dismiss me as a patient because I had repeatedly asked for my letter. Everyone there is rude, they bill for everything!!! I wrecked my car on the way to an appt, Amy said oh sorry thats a LATE CHARGE OF $180!!! This place is a freaking joke!
