This is one of the largest shopping malls in all of Europe and I can totally see why. With over 350 stores and almost 2 million square feet of retail floor space, a shopaholic could go mad in here! I mean, can you imagine? Each time walking in here to explore a different store. I'm a makeup addict, and the first thing that I noticed was that this mall had a Morphe store! They don't have too many Morphe stores in my area, and this one was one of the largest that I've ever seen. I also went into the NYX store which was big and beautiful. The store associates were so sweet! I think they knew that I wasn't from the UK, but they were still really nice. This mall also has a really large food court with tons of options. I found a cute little creperie there where I had breakfast one morning. The Stratford Station is walking distance from the entrance, and the pedestrian bridges make it so easy to access. This mall has everything from luxury retailers to department stores, financial institutions, high end tech shops and even grocery shops. It's gigantic. It's a bit out of the way from Central London but a dream for those who love to shop and explore. I would love to come back one day to explore more of their 300+ shops.

There are a load of car parking spaces, however, it can get pretty busy at times, forcing you to park a long way away from the store, meaning it can be a good walk and the set-up of the retail park is quite separate, with a few stores then a road, then a few more, it just doesn't work out, it feels more dangerous and awkward than a nice place to shop. There is a particularly nice brown ruffle dress in a silky material for 22 pounds and some lovely knits that wrap around your body. The staff here is friendly enough and not up your arse, in a way that is common in a small store. I like to come in here and have a poke around. I will note this store only sells clothing so no handbags or shoes on offer.

There's also an Iceland, although I'm pretty opposed to this chain it is cheap as chips. There's the Hackney obligatory Percy Ingles, the bakery and a hot nut stand (the shop used to be on Kingsland Road but has now moved in here). There's also clothes shops, a Holland and Barret and acupuncture shop. As if in keeping with the Ridley Rd market, there's also stalls inside selling clothes that Albert Square would be proud of! Then of course there's the infamous Matalan where there was sadly a terrible murder earlier this year. This forced a tightening of security, and you often see police men wandering around. That said, the liveliness of the shopping centre is infectious, and seriously, the Sainsburys is well cheap!
