I came here today because I was getting my nails done about a mile down the road and I saw some elites gave it five stars. So I made an appointment for 1 PM for a haircut and a blow dry with Ailen. It is in a strip mall with a pizza place and CR Chicka I showed up at 12:30 and Ailen was able to send me back to get washed. Ailen cut my hair very nice and did a good job and was quick. However, when she blew out my hair, she did not put any thermal styling products or any kind of products at all in my hair. Nor did she ask me how I wanted my hair to be blown out. I have very straight hair but most of the time when I get a blowout, they will use a curling iron. I've just never had my hair done without any product at all usually they put something into it. I absolutely love them, each stylist has their own nitch, so I see Allie for extensions, and Adriana for wash and style. My daughter and son see Adriana and husband sees Andrea. Armina for waxing services. I promise you there are stylist there with different names other than " A" names lol! I love this place cause day one I walked in from moving from Minnesota, I felt this was an instant family , I am able to call and they know me by name . They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and my family of four with our needs. Edmund James Salon has multiple locations but this location is in Wellington. For first time clients they were running a $25 promotion for getting hair blow dried or curled. It's a itty bitty salon but clean and busy. I took advantage of the styling for $25. Sana was my stylist who was extremely sweet and I chatted up a good conversation with her while she washed and massaged my hair. Getting your hair/head massaged is the best part of the whole experience. I think I have nice hair but she styled it in a way that it made them look good to the next level. I had to go to two events in one day and my hair was able to hold up. And a big thank you again to Sana who did not get annoyed with me, I was late 12 minutes for my hair appointment due to realizing I did not have my credit card on me. I plan to get my hair color done from her in the future because I have seen pictures of her work on social media and liked her style. Extremely unhappy with my visit to this salon. Not only did I not get even close to the color I asked for, but the cut looks lopsided and unprofessional. It's longer on the right side than it is on the left and the back is even shorter and choppy. The price has no reason to be that expensive. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the unprofessional way in which it was handled by the stylist. I will never return and I'm going to have to pay someone else to fix my hair. I went there for a gel manicure and a masque, shampoo and a blow dry for my hair. The staff is very friendly so that was a big plus. The manicurist did a very good job on my nails- however, I wasn't as thrilled with my blow dry. I felt that she didn't really focus and my hair wasn't great. She did ask me how i like my hair but it just looked so flat. What can I say? read more

Absolutely worse salon experience ever!! Had a 3:45pm. When I got there they told me to put robe on and wait. Well during my wait the stylist was as working on another client's hair. They were laughing, talking and taking her sweet time. Not once did she come to me to tell me she would almost be done. At 4:30!!!! She approaches me and calls me to hair chair. At that point I'm fuming. She then looks at my hair... mind you I have short bob and tells me highlights will be $285 plus $75 cut and $55 mandatory gloss. Im new to the area. I walked into the salon one day and asked if they did Brazilian blowouts. They said they did and quoted me a price. They also said they did them with extensions in the hair. When I called to schedule my appointment I asked again and was told yes I arrived at the salon and the stylist said they didn't have Brazilian but that's just a name and they have a different brand. I was concerned because I have tough hair and I know Brazilians have worked for me and others haven't. The one I got I had to leAve the keratin in my hair for 48 hours. I asked the stylist if it could damage my hair. He assured me it would not. I was also concerned because the price was different and the stylist said he didn't like doing a keratin with extensions in but said he could. I almost left because I just didn't have a good feeling. I wish I did. My hair is much more damaged and frizzy then it was before the treatment. I now have an appointment at a different salon for a deep conditioning treatment. I will need several I'm sure before my hair is even close to being healthy. read more

Newly retired here in Palm Beach Gardens I was on the hunt for a place for a cut and color. How happy I am to have found Edmund James Salon! While waiting for my first appointment I could not help but notice that everyone who walked out the door had a fabulous hair style! Kevin cut and styled my hair while working from a picture I chose for my new style. He matched the picture and gave me an amazing new look!
