They had a nice selection of a variety of genres, and I really liked the children's section, which was partially divided by ages group/reading level (which is helpful for clueless aunties like myself). Panther Comics has a decent selection of back stock and dollar bin books but not nearly as many new…read morereleases as I would have expected, especially for a somewhat larger store of their size. Now the staff there is always very friendly and knowledgeable, but it's not one of my go-to spots for comics. Mainly because their pricing on the back stock could be more competitive. Sure, you might occasionally find an outstanding deal, as I have come across in the past, but more often than not, that isn't the case. At least in the physical store. However, the exception is when Panther Comics is a vendor at different comic shows in other cities. Now THAT is where you will find incredible gems at phenomenal prices from them. In fact, I've bought over fifty key issue books from Panther this way at only a dollar or two a book. I consider that a deal (or steal). Too bad it's not the norm at their central location. If that were the case, then I would totally come here a lot more often. **TIP: They offer to submit services to CGC if you want to get your books graded. I heard another customer inquiring about it when I was there once, but I don't recall the exact pricing details.

Instead of shelving everything under one broad "romance" section like most bookstores, they had little signs for different tropes and subgenres--billionaire romance, mafia, fantasy, aliens, and so many more. It was such a refreshing way to browse and made it easy to find exactly what I was in the mood for. I also think the concept of pairing a romance bookstore with a sex shop is incredibly unique. The two are separated into different sections of the store, so if you're only interested in browsing books, you never have to enter the sex shop area. I thought that was a really smart layout because it lets people enjoy whichever part they're comfortable with. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're a romance reader. It's one of the most thoughtfully organized bookstores I've visited, and I'll definitely be back.

I spent my childhood picking through 25 cent comic bins at flea markets. This place brings it all back. This place is ripe with back issues and rare finds. I love 80's swamp Thing and horror comics. The staff is extremely helpful both on the web and off. Always willing to hold things for you if you ask. After I found it I walked back to the counter to see that he had pulled all of my pack fresh cards out and was man handling them, full bends and scraping them around like he was playing with his own cards. They have some decent prices for singles but awful prices for sealed packs, well over market even. After he ruined the value of my cards and offered me 58% trade in credit I was left feeling awful. Wouldn't recommend as there are better card shops and better comic book stores within 15 minutes from here. Plus it smells really bad!!
