We had Ed do our roof 2 different times. That was 2 times too many! The first time I found him my Pastor strongly recommended we not use him. But we did. I don't recall what he did wrong that time it was many yrs ago! The second time we needed roofing my husband decided we were going with him again. This time oh boy, where do I start... First there was moldy wood they had to take down & replace. They did take the wood down, but put it up where I guess they thought we wouldn't see. We called Ed & told him they used our moldy wood on the new roofing project. He wanted proof! We told him to come & we would show him. When he came & we showed him he seemed shocked. He made them replace the wood. Well that only caused a lot more problems. His workers were passed at us. They threw nails all over the ground. They purposely cut up big sheets of wood into small pieces so they could keep the scrap, as in the contract. They left off the facia in places, and behind our garage is a smaller attached building and they didn't touch the roof. We paid for the whole thing to be roofed. I strongly suggest u do not use this company. Honestly Ed is a nice guy. But, the crew should never work on any roof. read more

Needed a repair job on an older Mobile Home and finding a qualified roofer near Bullhead City isn't easy until we found Ed Cook. Like the other review, he arrived when he said and got on the roof to take a look. He came down and gave us a good/fair quote on the work needed in addition to an overview of "How it looked" When we came back to town, he sent out one of his employees to do the repair. It has been about six months now since Ed Cook re-shingled my roofs. The process was mostly smooth, there were some delays, but mostly from the weather. Ed always returned my calls when I had a question. His crew came out and installed two roofs in 120 degree weather with no complaints. The roofs came out great and there were no end of contract surprises. I have one more roof to be done as soon as I have reinforced it and I will be calling Edward Cook. We brought Ed on to re-seal our mobile roof in Needles, and come up with a plan to repair a damaged facia from when the awning was torn off by the wind. Ed determined that bringing the padding down over the facia would seal any areas susceptible to water so that is what we did. His crew showed up on time, made short work of the swamp cooler, and had the roof sealed and looking great in a few days. He did hit me with a small up-charge, but I expected that because of the strange situation. Other than that, his pricing was fair, his guys were neat and on time, and he offers a warranty. I needed an entire roof job on my home. I interviewed several people in Bullhead and that was enough to scare anyone. Ed Cook was not at all the cheapest but his prices seemed fair. His workers are very good and did a fine job. Communication could have been better as the owner Ed is quite old and you won't be having email parties with him that's for sure. What it boils down to is this. There is NOBODY competent in the entire city you would trust to give a deposit to. This man was the best I found and shined upon the rest.
