This advisor told me I didn't need a tax form and I did. I often file my taxes in October. So when I had the corporate office send me the form I needed I had them fax it to this advisor. Then when I asked for them to email it to me the secretary had shredded it!!! Wtf! One of my main issues I have with this company was how my advisor got in trouble after the higher ups snooped through my email. This advisor blamed me for almost costing him his job? In reality this was his error and definitely not mine, so how on earth was this my fault? What kind of advisor blames you for his mistake? He couldn't even be honest enough to admit it or own up to it. Consequently after this, I lived in fear of all my emails getting read by Edward Jones, so I left all together! I recommend not letting someone else handle your money and being in control of how your funds get spent. No one wants to deal with a Narcissistic advisor who blames you for everything he does wrong. I switched to Vanguard and now I get to decide how my funds are spent. I'm not going to line anyone else's pocket especially one that blames me for his own mistakes.
