Zero stars option? Maybe negative stars. Tellers were less than welcoming. When I said I was on a…read moretime limit I was told that I should make an appointment. There wasn't one customer in the lobby. You could hear crickets. Someone that looked like the manager couldn't be bothered to even look up when I objected to coming back. So then I decided to move forward. Practically had to beg them. Mind you I had planned on opening 2 accounts and getting at least one Cc. So then the teller tells me the system can't authenticate me. So weird that recently another institution was throwing credit at me. He asked for a piece of mail to prove I'm me. After Ben the worst teller scanned my drivers license which wasn't enough apparently. So I show him a piece of mail and he made a face and said that wasn't adequate that I would need a utility bill. I said no was and prepared to leave. Too many hoops. He made some other snide comments and was making so many weird faces I thought he may be having a cardiac event. A stroke? An aneurysm? At any rate you should run the cameras back. Maybe this is a place that doesn't want BIPOC business? Is that the reason for the disparate treatment? Anyways I will avoid this place like the plague and maybe make a few calls...since I am in the industry I certainly know who to call! Avoid this place like an old tunafish sandwich you left in the fridge too long! Verity CU will treat you right. Go see Grace and tell her I sent you. Right next to the outlet collection in Auburn!

I've had a really great experience with this credit union, and I have used them for two car loans…read more My truck was totaled and the gap insurance, Safe-Guard Gap, is dragging their feet on covering the gap(will never use them again), but my payment with Harborstone is due and I walked in and the manager, Dennis, was very helpful. He informed me of what will be happening with this loan, and he made me feel much better about not being able to cover my loan and told me that he will note my account so I don't get collector calls because of my situation. I have had great experiences both in person and over the phone and I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

This is the most unprofessional firm I have ever worked with. I was with Hale and Associates when…read morethey merged firms and had nothing but negative experiences for the next 3 years that followed before ultimately parting ways. After the merge, the rates for my personal and corporate returns, quarterly filings and everything were raised exponentially without ever telling me there would be a price increase. They just started sending bills at a much higher rate. Their bills are also not itemized, so you never really know what you are paying for. They do not care about their clients at all and are purely transaction. They will charge you for every single question you ask or email you send. I'm sorry, but if I am going to trust someone with such an important aspect of my business, I should be able to ask my CPA tax related questions throughout the year. Also, multiple times they sent bills to an old address that I never had while working with them and then years later when they realized, they tried to charge me years worth of interest on top of the bills. I can't pay bills I never received and why did it take them over a year to realize I had an outstanding bill? I paid the invoices the very day it was brought to my attention. Then 6 months later, I was sent another bill (with more interest tacked on) for the invoice I had already paid and received payment confirmation for. Why would I continue to trust my corporate and personal taxes with a firm that can't even manage their own billing department. Also, after the merge, my CPA of years was no longer my preparer during tax season. I would get emails from multiple random Shannon & Associate employees that I have never met. No introduction, no explanation as to why they were reaching out, just requests for sensitive documents from people I had never heard of. This might not have been a red flag, but when you have 5 or 6 different people emailing you about different aspects of your tax filings, there are too many hands in the cookie jar and it's a recipe for errors. Also, you would think that with this many people involved, their filings would be quick, but they were always down to the wire with deadlines. They are rude, unprofessional, and only care about money. Also, Julie Campbell who left a five star review for them on google is an employee. Having employees leave positive comments to offset the truthful negative reviews should tell you everything you need to know about this firm.
