Worse customer service ever and they lie to you about what your going to be actually charged then when you question why your lied to they try to make you feel like your stupid and that they are not lying. When I asked to speak to Cesar as he is my agent his wife informed me he is not available on this matter (he never is) and that although I expressed I do not feel comfortable working with her she informed me I do not have a choice. PART 1 I carried FULL COVERAGE on all my vehicles through State Farm. In 2021 I was hit in my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado by a vehicle at a stop freeway signal and pulling out in front of me traveling full speed of 60mph in the car pull lane by the South Center Mall. The driver took and was sited 100% at fault and he also had FULL COVERAGE by State Farm. My truck was still under a bank loan I was paying. So during this whole time I had to pay my truck payment and full coverage on a truck I can not drive. My initial issues at the scene of the accident was that it would not shift into gear. Once we were able to move it to the side of the freeway by having to jerk it into gear (only because we were on the wall in the car pull lane ) to flatbed tow it because it was un-drivable, it shifted as if the transmission just fell out. One huge CLUNK!! State Farm towed it to a company they are affiliated with. Expressing my concern about the transmission to the repair shop was the first thing I said, they said before they do anything they will do a full inspection. They contacted me about a week later and said it was all cosmetic and would be ready in a week. After having my truck there for a month, they had done those repairs being $1000's already then telling me when they went to have it aligned for me to pick up they realized that the frame was bent. Having the truck for another 6 weeks they replaced the frame with ALL after market parts and don't say anything to us about it when asked from the receipt they said the insurance company does cover any original parts. I went to pick up the truck and in 30 minutes after picking it up I had NO BRAKES traveling downhill. Thank God I made it down and a mile down the road was another location for the repair shop. They repaired the brakes but when picking it up I said there is still NOT SHIFTING PROPERTY THE GEARS ARE STICKING. The shop sent it to the Chevrolet dealership across the street. They had my truck for a month then called me said State Farm never sent anyone out to appraise the damage nor is responding to her calls, emails or request or look into the diagnosis but the transmission has shavings and needs replacement (when State Farm was claiming they went out and accessed the damage). She said that we would need to pay for the repairs of $6,800 or pick up our vehicle until they received further information from State Farm. We picked up our vehicle that day. When we arrived we had to walk the lot to find our truck because the service department couldn't find record of our truck being on their lot???? After locating our truck and driving less than 20 mph for an hour to get it home we parked it. I hired an attorney and an appraisal company to assist me. State Farm changed adjuster EVERY-TIME we spoke to someone. Two months later I received a call from the adjuster at Chevrolet saying they still have not received a response from State Farm and would like to know if I was going to pay for the repair or pick up my truck???? I said " you have my truck?" She replied "YES! It's on the line out back for repair." I said "who's your supervisor are you kidding me I picked up my truck 2 months ago and it's parked in my side lot covered because you told us we had to pick it up! In addition we had to find our truck because you didn't keep up with the paperwork!" My truck sat for another YEAR until I was able to save some money out of my own pocket and I had to use my medical injury settlement to repair the vehicle. Actual total was $12,000 because of it sitting parked and un-drivable. State Farm to this day has NOT responded for many months at a time and is now taking NO responsibility for the damages. Stating that they have paid the claim. The adjusters have had to file a 20day claim against State Farm to pay or move forward with the lawsuit. There are still NOT even responding. PART 2 - -$12,000 Out of pocket loss for repairs that were not my fault -LOST VALUE IN THE TRUCK THATS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT THAT HAD A FRAME REPLACEMENT -DEPRECIATED VALUE OF THE TRUCK WITH ALL THOSE AFTER MARKET PARTS -LOSS IN USE OF THE TRUCK AS WE PAID MONTHLY PAYMENTS TO THE BANK AS IT STAYS PARKED -PAYING FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE BECAUSE OF THE BANK LOAN We have literally been through HELL FOR AN ACCIDENT THAT WAS 100% NOT MY FAULT BUT IM STRUGGLING AND PAYING FOR IT WHEN BOTH OUR VEHICLE IN THE ACCIDENT WERE COVERED BY STATE FARM. -$1200 retainer fee for the Apprasial company out of pocket I even continued coverage for several months after the accident. When this turned into a lawsuit situation I dropped my coverage with them. I have to be thankful I have my truck but it is no thanks to State Farm for either FULL COVERAGE PARTY!!!! I am disgusted with they way insurance companies can get away with things like this. I am not the only case that the attorneys and appraisers are in combat for with STATE FARM! Please take this serious it could be you and it has cost me a lot of money and stress! read more
