I'm sure many people have passed my house and thought, "What a horrible mess. Those people are so lazy." But here is someone I did not know or contact, who saw a person in a dire situation and thought, "What can I do to help?" Javier returned with his team yesterday and got to work. They spent the entire day in my yard clearing away years of overgrowth, including grass, ivy/vines, weeds, leaves, 'tree-lets" growing against the house. He texted me last night and said that he would return today, on the Independence Day holiday, to "finish up a few spots." And he kept his word. Since I was at work, he texted a picture to me of the finished front yard. Spectacular transformation. He would not take any payment from us, although we offered it several times. Everything was done at a cost to him, including paying his crew's salary and providing their meals. He was focused on his mission to provide blessings forward and we are forever grateful.
