We have used Edwards & Sons twice now, once four years ago and just last week. We got a great price and they did a great job the first time, which is why we called them again when we needed more tree work done. As usual, they did a fantastic job (both trees were right in between our house and a vinyl fence) and highly recommend them. A guy came to our house asking about cutting our trees down. My husband told him he was thinking about Pruning them at a later time. Well, the guy called my husband the next day. My husband told him to call back bc he was at work. Then 2 guys showed up to the house to talk to him, and I told them he wasn't home and would have to call him later. They didn'tcall him nor did he call them- I came home from work the next day to find them outside pruning my trees, so I started yelling at them to stop. Because NO one authorized them to cut anything. They said they had a work order to cut. Well, we never signed anything or paid for anything. And my trees were perfectly fine. After the father came out & we explained to him what happened, he assured us he would rectify the situation. Because we never approved this. We have 3 trees cut and 4 uncut, in the front of our house. Well, my husband kept calling the cell # to the father and the original guy, and of course, there was no answer. My husband ran into him in town on another project & he said "I didn't forget about you" . Now months have gone by no words, so I decided to call the # I found online for them. The women who answered the phone was Extremely Extremely RUDE. FROM HER 1ST COMMENT. when I was explaining that my husband had been calling, she said "well he hasn't been calling here" I told her that I wasn't being rude to her and tried to explain the situation then things went very left in sec. Where we were in a yelling match. At this point I will report them to the BBB and file a small claim case. We don't have time for the unprofessional service this company provides. read more

I hired this company to install a concrete patio in May '23.The patio began to flood time it rained. I immediately called and the don came out. He told me the problem would be fixed by the following Friday. it has been two weeks and i have not heard from them. I have made multiple phone calls and they have not returned any of them. Esch time it rains I have to spend at least 30minutes pushing water away from my back door. They left piles of concrete in my backyard and attempted to cover it with dirt. I have had to file a complaint with the BBB to obtain a full refund of the $5200 I paid them. Please stay away from this company. I made the mistake of hiring them, please don't do the same. They caused problems to my property and are not hiding like cowards and refuse to fix it. I will not let this go. We will likely end up in court as they also say my central air unit in wet concrete. It not can not moved without being damaged. My summer vacation will likely be canceled because I can't leave my house unattended or the water will surely intrude my home. read more

I called for an estimate back in April. The woman who took my information down was rude and rushed me. Said someone would be out at 10am for an estimate. Someone arrived at 845am and scared the hell out of me walking on my lawn. Told me they would call me back after. I called to follow up on providing service and they completely forgot who I was and had no plans to follow up with me. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! It is a company that will damage your property and NOT take care of the damage that they have caused or properly clean up your property upon completion of work. My next door neighbor hired this company to take down 2 oak trees, grind the stumps and regrade the soil. When they started the job they asked if they could work on my property. I said yes. They didn't ask if they could park their bucket truck on my driveway for 3 days. They didn't ask me to move my cars until I wasn't home and had to come back home and move them. They said when they were done they would put the cars back and DID NOT. Their bucket truck leaked oil all over my driveway and stained my concrete. THEY DID NOTHING! Even after I complained about this. They left my roof covered with saw dust. I had to loan them a ladder to get on my roof because they didn't plan on cleaning my roof. They also hit my side entry door with a tree limb and denied doing it. My other neighbor hired them to trim a tree and they broke his sidewalk and said they didn't do it. I would not hire this company to do ANYTHING! All they care about is getting paid in cash (I hope the IRS is watching them) and leaving the scene of their SUBSTANDARD WORK. read more

Do not, I repeat, do NOT call Edwards Tree Service. I have a 100+ year old oak tree that I wanted cut back and some dead branches removed. They removed healthy branches, left dead ones and even left half of a huge branch. Literally, half of a huge branch. Makes me wanna cry every time I look at it. They also let branches fall carelessly and damage a nearby tree. They said they would come by and correct things but never did. If I could give a negative rating I would as 1 star is generous. read more

Received an advertisement in the mail a week or so ago and my husband called for a firewood delivery and requested 2 estimates for tree and driveway work. They agreed upon a delivery date. He then called to confirm the delivery date as it got closer. He left 2 messages and they never called back. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP and still have not returned the calls. LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE. Edwards Tree Service was hired to shape/trim a 3 year old full birch tree in my backyard that was approximately 25 feet tall. The tree has been COMPLETELY DESTROYED and now resembles a palm tree. At this point the tree has to be removed and I am seeking legal guidance. read more
