So first I checked with another photo studio but there I had to make an appointment a few days out. Then I went to PicturePeople and was immediately pleasantly welcomed by Stef. Stef is a great guy with a personality that makes people immediately feel at ease. I went for a package with 5 pictures and the whole experience was wonderful. The studio is simple but very practical. Different backgrounds to choose from, about five different light sources and mirrors that give good lightning results. Stef made a lot of pictures in different poses, while having a friendly chat so I felt at ease and looked good in the pictures :-) Together we made a selection which pictures to keep (from the 30+ photos we took). He advised that some pictures would look better in Black and White (which they did!), we choose a picture to print out. And he even helped me framing another picture that I also wanted to give to my family. Stef really takes time to provide his customers with the best possible experience. I also had Dennis take my professional portrait for my LinkedIn profile picture. I was very pleased with the result; lighting, pose, color and composition, it was all on point. Dennis has an amazing eye for detail; I even noticed he added extra eyelashes in my picture when I compared the before and after picture of post-processing. I was very interested to see Dennis' fashion photography work, when I was at his place for my portrait picture. Dennis showed his beautiful work for the Shuz campaign. He has this amazing way of getting you to feel completely comfortable even though you know he's around an event snapping away. The photos he takes are so stunning. He finds angles that I wouldn't have ever though of, his composition is right on the money, and he catches the right moment with smiles, hugs, drinks and laughter. Oh and light! He knows how to use it! I truly appreciate his work. His photos are more than just snaps in time - - they give the feeling that takes me back to that moment.
