My fiancé and I were in Amsterdam for summer holiday and decided to take pictures. After finding Manuela on Yelp she was exceptionally responsive and gave us recommendations for colors to wear for our 1 hour photoshoot. We were a few minutes late and Manuela was exceptionally accommodating. I originally thought we'd take photographs in one spot but we walked to numerous locations in the Rembrandt area. Photography is about capturing that moment in time. That laugh, smile, toast, embrace. When I look at Manuela's photos, I am taken back to the moment they were snapped. I've seen photographers that move around an event awkwardly and don't really know where they fit or what to do. But Manuela fits in with ease snapping photos and interacting with people just enough to have people comfortable with her presence, but not too much that it intrudes with the action. We were in Amsterdam in June and had the pleasure of working with Manuela. I cannot even to begin to explain how amazing she is! We scheduled a family shoot (with 2 year old twins) and we all know how challenging that could be. Her bubbly personality and amazing energy got us through one hour of fun and great locations across the city. She went as far as lying down on the street to get the right angle ! She picked a place for us to meet (since we are just visitors in Amsterdam) and had a lot of great locations. We got so many different poses and backgrounds even in just an hour.
