Why is it so hard to find a doctor that cares about their patients? I had an early morning…read moreappointment. I am a single dad and had to take my kids to school. Between the lines of first day back and traffic around to school, I was 12 minutes late for my appointment. They promptly told me they wanted to reschedule. I was only there for prescription refills. It would have been a "sit in the office, small talk for a few minutes" apointment... and "here's your prescription refills". I'm on blood pressure medication and just need a refill and they don't care because I didn't call while I was driving through school zones to get to the doctors office. I have a job and kids and they have no problem making me wait for 10 to 15 minutes, but heaven forbid they wait for you for a few minutes. I'll be finding a new doctor that cares.

First off, the front desk lady seriously needs an attitude adjustment! This place needs people who are better communicators on the phone. On the day of my appointment, I had informed them while I sat in my car just across their door (filling up their online forms), that I have my kid with me. I don't have a sitter so he will need to come in. The lady, I suppose the same one who booked my appointment, never said anything about it. It took me a while to fill in the forms and as soon as I'm done, I called them back again. Front desk lady said they'll call when the nurse is ready. A few minutes and I get a text. I walked in the front door with my son (masks on) and I was greeted by this nurse who is NOT wearing a mask. Before I can go in, she says "I'm sorry, for safety reasons, your kid is not allowed inside". The front desk lady, also NOT wearing a mask, echoed what she said. I told her, I had mentioned on the phone that I'm bringing in my son because I don't have a sitter and she never said anything! I kid you not, I was fuming right on the get go! I told them to cancel my appointment then and I stormed back in my car. Then I realized, I haven't made my point just yet. So, I walked back up to the front door, opened it and pointed at the front desk lady and said "Oh, by the way, YOU'RE NOT WEARING A MASK EITHER!" As a scientist that doesn't believe in the efficacy of masks, I wear them out of respect. BUT, this business just showed me how utterly HYPOCRITICAL they are!!

My personal experience with Dr. Orsak was a huge mistake and the following will explain why…read more I met with Dr. Orsak and explained that I was looking for a new physician. I also explained that I was dealing with some emotions based on a family member whom passed away from a long term disease and needed some guidance.  Let me start by saying that there is almost 60 years of medical experience in my family and I understand the ups and downs of grief. Dr. Orsak stated he was going to put me on an antipsychotic. "ABSOLUTELY NOT"!!! Dr. Orsak stated again he was going to put me on an antipsychotic. I STATED AGAIN; "ABSOLUTELY NOT"!!! 1) WHAT KIND OF VOODOO DOCTOR ARE YOU? 2) THE PATIENT DOES KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THEM. 3) THE PATIENT DOES HAVE A "PATIENT BILL OF RIGHTS". Next, Dr. Orsak had a full panel of blood run on me. I was interested to see the results as I just had blood work run on me 3 weeks ago from my previous doctor and everything was perfect. Needless to say, my blood work came back and my Thyroid count was twice as high as is should be. I spoke to the Nurse regarding the results from my blood work as I have absolutely no Thyroid symptoms at all. If my Thyroid was that bad then I would definitely have Thyroid symptoms. I was instructed by the Nurse to make an appointment to discuss this issue with Dr. Orsak even though he had called in a prescription to my pharmacy. Finally, regarding the medications that Dr. Orsak called into my pharmacy. My pharmacist of 20 years spoke to me at length "due to concerns" of the prescribed medications and the side effects. Of course, I followed my pharmacists advise. The only other comment I can add is that Dr. Orsak is a true Narcissist. He should spend less time being Arrogant and less time standing on his pedestal stroking his Ego. I have given a negative review on Yelp & Google and if these reviews were not up to their "Legal Standards" they would not be posted. Any response from Dr. Orsak regarding this honest and open review is superfluous.

I advised her that I had 3 ultrasounds collected on my abdomen (external and internal) as I had pain from what I thought was a hernia. they found a mass in my uterus and a 3mm mass on my left kidney. I explained to her that I understand most holistic practices and know how I'd like to approach the issues. I wanted to talk those out with the dr, get her feedback or suggestions and have her monitor the progress. the upping last assured me that would not be an issue. I get to the appointment, pay and spent the next 45 minutes taking with the Dr who did nothing but assume diagnoses even when I said I didn't have certain things (I.e, sleep apnea, lymes disease). she would even write referrals after I said I knew I did not have these issues. I am a 42 year old woman, 5ft 10in, 165 pounds, very active, in the gym 6 days a week. I do not have a tongue tie, weight problem or sleep apnea. My focus is my uterus pain and my kidney. When I tried to talk to her about the issues, I was there for she let me know that she hasn't even looked at the ultrasound reports and wanted to refer me to have it done again. I told her if I was to have anything else done I would prefer an MRI so that we can get a better understanding of what was going on and she said she would would prefer that I just have an ultrasound done, external and internal. I explained again that I already had that done and it was a very in-depth report. She then left the room to go get the reports... They were not even in the file that she had in her hand. when she came back, I told her that I would like to do a parasite cleanse and also monitor my estrogen as I was estrogen dominan which could prompt the growth on my uterus. she said she would not do that and would prefer to look at all the other things that she had mentioned, and was not even concerned about the ultrasound reports that I had done as they may not be correct. She also told me I should get a pap smear...I asked why she would tell me that. She said "it is always good to have your routine check ups" nope. at this point I was intern upset and shut down. She never went into depth about anything concerning my estrogen dominance, my abdominal pain related to what they found on the ultrasound or even my kidney. She was very concerned with me having $2000 worth of referrals and blood work done for things I had already told her I did not need. There's more I could complain about but it just makes me mad. We are a single income family. I homeschool all three of my kids and don't have $500 to throw around so someone can scam me into seeing every friend dr they have for unrelated issues. I walked out of there with absolutely no advise, no attention to my concerns, and 5 referrals that I NEVER called on. However, I get spammed constantly from each one of these doctors offices that she wrote a referral to. They constantly call me, leave messages and text me trying to get me to set up appointments. I have never reached out to any of these doctors so I know she's gave them my contact info without my consent. I have never been spammed from so many doctors offices in my life! I am deeply disappointed....I thought I found someone that would help me through this unexpected health issues and I thought she would encourage and give me hope... honestly could cry every time I think about the $500 waste. this dr might be good for you if you don't know anything about holistic care or if you are new to this world but if you know then please don't waste your time, emotional energy or money.
