I have been seeing Dr. Lee for over four years, and although appointments can sometimes take longer than expected, it's important to remember that the time he spends consulting and diagnosing each patient is invaluable. While you may have to wait a bit longer occasionally, this means the person before you is receiving the same thorough care and attention. Whoever makes this Dr. their Dr. better make SURE they tell you the truth about the insurances they take. I got a bill from them, and I have ZERO out of pocket with my insurance. When I first made an appt. with them, they told me they took ALL my insurance, not they expect me to pay out of pocket. NOPE. If you've never been there good luck seeing the Dr. because you won't. I've been there twice and don't even know what he looks like. His nurse or whatever she is, is who sees the patients. I do not recommend this clinic. read more

Just had my first visit at this office and all in all it was an excellent experience... particularly in contrast to all of the PCPs from the giant medical groups who all seem to be heartless robots. I was able to get an appointment same day and I was taken back within 15 minutes of my arrival. The staff, from the front desk, nurses, NP & Dr. Lee were all fantastic! My favorite part of my visit was my time with Dr. Lee. He sat with me for over 20 minutes to discuss my health care. We had a very good and thorough conversation, and most importantly, he was a proponent/advocate of overall health and well being rather than a doctor who just tells you to take pills. For the first time since moving to Houston, I finally feel like I have found a doctor that will ACTUALLY care, like the doctor I had in the small town I lived in before moving to Houston. I hope I rarely have to see him because that means things are going well, but at the same time I look forward to my next visit. read more

Dr Lee listens and then gives his opinion, he doesn't make things hard to understand either. He was very concerned on medications my old doctor had me taking and and got me off of them right away. I have felt much better since starting with Dr. Lee. He doesn't have the best bedside manner, I can see why this would rub someone the wrong way. My husband went to see Dr. Lee earlier this month for a physical and prescription renewal. Dr. Lee came into the exam room without a mask, declaring that he doesn't wear one or require anyone in his office to wear one, then proceeded to rant about how he knows more than anyone about masks and how they don't work to stop the spread of COVID, and bullied my husband into taking his off. After listening a few more minutes, he asked Dr. Lee if they could skip the physical so he could just get his prescription and get out of there. We will never be back, we have changed our primary care provider, and I am telling everyone who will listen, including Harris County Health Department and the Texas Medical Board, about this behavior. read more

Insurance just changed to an HMO threw husband and he didn't know when changed that they would pick a PCP so whoop whoop changed to Dr. Williams. So I notice this and attempt to call about 5 minutes till 5 BUT I just wanted them to get my address and send me the new patient paperwork. Ok here it went when I called... Receptionist answered phone: YES?! Me: ummmm hello? Is this Dr. Williams office? Receptionist: yea Me: ummm ok? I need to set up an appointment for my husband, but he's a new patient... *cuts me off.... Receptionist: ok what's his name? *give his name... Receptionist: what's his social? Me: I'm sorry I'm not required to give his social (really I'm not, and hello? Who would want to give there social over the phone to a business that answered the phone with:YES) Receptionist: ok well what are your trying to do? I'm not finding his name Me: he's a new patient *ok let's speed things up... I then asked if I should just call back tomorrow (she sounded flustered) and she said yes just call back tomorrow cause you don't want to give me his social. I then stated that by law I'm not required and she started over talking me and would not let me talk. Finally I had to ask her to stop and explained that she was being rude by speaking over me and asked of she could just mail me the new patient forms and then BAM she hung up on me! Soooo like I said called 5 min till closing and I couldn't get anyone back on the phone. Googled the doctor and see nothing but bad reviews. I understand that because if that's how they run there front office I can imagine how back office is. SIGHS sooo now here I go and try to get ahold of insurance to change our pcp and in the meantime we have to go the doctor my husband has been seeing and be a self pay. read more

I went to see Dr Lee as a new patient with what I thought was a routine infection, as it turned out it was very serious. Dr Lee and his staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and more importantly, make me feel like I was in good hands. Dr Lee was very thorough during my appointments, asked pointed questions and provided very clear explanations. I truly felt like he was covering all the bases and providing expert care. I've taken my mom to him for almost the past year. I met with him one time and was able to diagnose her before even closing the door! After reading the other negative reviews, I realized he does try to rush the visit, but he will also try to give you herbal/food remedies (which my mom prefers doing over taking pills). I had my physical done today since this was also my first visit and I met with the Nurse Practitioner Allison. I love her! She takes the time to talk to you and is very thorough. For those who wrote bad reviews, please don't feel discouraged. When you call for an appt you can request to be scheduled with the Nurse Practitioner rather than Dr Lee. The nurse Shahnaz was very sweet to talk to when she was taking the health history. read more

My whole family are patients of Dr. Lee's for over 10 years now. We started out with him when he as associated with another clinic, we only stayed with them until Dr. Lee opened his own practice and then we went with him. Dr. Lee and his staff have always been courteous and very helpful in listening to our health concerns. I like that Dr. Lee doesn't just want to "push" medication on a patient. He truly tries to figure out what your ailment is and not just treat symptoms. Anytime I have called to make an appointment I can usually get into see him within one day sometimes the same day! That never happens with most doctors. I have never had to wait in the waiting room more than 15 minutes. Sometimes I walk in and don't even get the chance to sit down! I've read these other reviews and not sure what they are basing their opinion on except for a one-time visit. Everyone has a bad day here and there and doctors and their staff are regular people too. Com'on people have some compassion. Having over 10 years experience with Dr. Lee I can say without a doubt if you're looking for a REAL family doctor that will tell you like it is and treat you like a real person he is the doctor for you and your family. read more

The worst doctor I have ever been to! Went in looking for a referral for an orthopedic surgeon and a neurologist and he flat out refused saying I needed to see a psychiatrist because it was all in my head. Turns out I have a severe case of degenerative disc disease, arthritis in my whole spine, spina bifida in the upper portion of my spine, a 12mm mass on my brain stem and a rare brain malformation called Chiari Malformation 1. Because of his misdiagnosis and refusal to refer me to a doctor I have had to go an extra 2 years of suffering. I am now 2 months post op from having brain surgery to remove a large chunk of my skull to relieve the pressure on my brain and to make room for my CSF to begin flowing again. I also had to have two fairly large pieces removed from my C-1 and C-2 (where my spina bifida is located) because it was putting so much pressure on my spinal cord within a few short years I would have become a quadriplegic. The 12mm mass on my brain stem is luckily not cancer and will be removed by another very dangerous brain operation. Please if you want an accurate diagnosis go else where! This guy must have got his degree off the black market. Also i agree with the review below me. I have personally seen him go nuts on one of his employees over the littlest thing. He will walk in the room to speak with you and leave the door open while he sits there and belittles and judges you for being in pain. I have seen a neurologist for 5 years now so I have known the pain is not just in my head. I hope you can sleep well at night doc knowing you can misdiagnose a patient with a very serious life altering disease. read more

This doctor has a RN that doesn't take calls or return them. I was given an RX I was allergic to and reported it immediately to his staff. NO ONE called back or changed the RX and DR Lee went out of town. I went 10 days with no BP med and ended up in a minor ER clinic . When I reported both the nurse and Dr Lee to the Texas Medical board they lied and falsified records stating I refused to come in. Real jerk has an explosive temper and bed side manor is insulting!
