This was a result of the doctor (video call no less) tapered my benzos down to zero in a week. I explained to her that I've been taking them for 30 years and am working with my own psychiatrist to do a proper taper (about a year). She wouldn't listen so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. That didn't happen. Also my counselor called my wife and recommended I stay in a residential facility for 3 months. I'm almost 60 and own my own house. This is so beyond what I needed. She bought into this and it's caused a lot of strife in my marriage. She was listed as an emergency contact only. I spoke to 3 other patients and he (counselor Phil) did the same to them. It's a money grab. I would stay away. I will say the food was decent though and the rest of the staff was very nice.
