Honestly Jamie and Lauren's photos speak for themselves, but they also could not be better people or more easy to work with. They are incredibly professional and have a total system, complete with a pre-wedding questionnaire, dialed in to make the day run as smoothly as possible. We recently received their final, edited photos and could not have been happier (we've already gone through them multiple times)! They do an incredible job capturing all the shots you want and providing you with an absolutely astounding number of edited shots. Many people told us that the most important vendor you choose for your wedding is the photographer. Jamie and Lauren are both amazing photographers and people, so the choice to book them was an easy one. We had calls with several other photographers, but when we finished our first call with Jamie and Lauren we knew they were our top choice, mostly because they exuded the fun, low-stress, positive vibe we wanted around us on our wedding day. After booking with Jamie and Lauren the rest of the process was very simple. They sent a questionnaire a few weeks before the wedding asking about what style we wanted, and what specific shots we needed. We compiled a shot list and shared our wedding timeline. Overall the prep was simple, and Jamie and Lauren showed up prepared and ready for the day. Jamie and Lauren fit in to our wedding crowd like the were guests and we never felt like they were out of place as the photographed. In fact, looking at some of the final photos we remarked that we were surprised that they captured a shot because we didn't even notice them being around at that moment! They made us feel comfortable while we were taking portraits and we had fun exploring the redwoods at our venue with them. We loved how excited they were to take cool shots and really embrace the beautiful setting we were in. And then there are the photos themselves... The whole album is a comprehensive capture of our entire wedding. They didn't miss a thing. From getting ready, to the very end of the night we have great photos of everything. Our portraits are amazing, and the way they captured both us and the redwood forest we were in is astoundingly beautiful. We have both artistic and dramatic photos, and great classic portraits that our parents can't wait to frame. We are so happy with our wedding photos and the experience of working with Jamie and Lauren. I started looking for photographers after realizing that our nighttime, entirely virtual ceremony (thanks Covid) wouldn't be conducive to good photos and booked her for wedding portraits before the ceremony. After having gotten our pictures back, I'm am so happy and relieved I trusted my gut with them. Not only did Lauren scout out and help us find locations that would work in our extremely limited time frame (I can't say enough about how awesome she was for finding spots based on our desired background + helping us find niche parking spots on google maps), but she made us feel so comfortable and confident. Throughout the photoshoot she was exceedingly positive and encouraging, and my husband and I left feeling like rockstars. She paid attention to our good/bad angles - she kept directing us to do things during the shoot (like crack jokes, switch sides, etc) that saved us from our less photogenic tendencies. She was also highly professional, diffusing a couple of awkward situations with people in our shoot locations and setting a timer to make sure we got back to start our ceremony on time. The pictures largely speak for themselves though. My husband and I are notoriously bad at having photos taken and I was really nervous about having only a few good ones to choose from. I'm still surprised that I've only been able to narrow my favorites down to 80 pictures! I loved the types of shots she took, which were a great blend of up-close moments and landscape shots. I also had a few "props", like a bouquet and dupatta, and she was great at figuring out when to add/remove them from a shot. I feel like the editing style is good balance of modern and classic, and I have no worries about these pictures aging badly. I could go on forever, but coming from a person who was sincerely worried that she was incapable of having a good photo taken, I can't recommend Eichar photography highly enough! read more

Not only are Jamie and Lauren phenomenal photographers, but they're also the most genuine, warm, thoughtful, and dedicated people. They simply thought of everything and captured it all, from the tiniest details to the candid in-between moments throughout the day. We also loved the way Jamie and Lauren helped create moments for us to step away, be present, and soak it all in. It was amazing to spend the day with two people who care so deeply and made us feel so special. Written by my wife Mary Ann - Lauren & Jamie were athletes at a college I worked at, and I have watched them turn into adults and professionals. When I was engaged to be remarried, I knew I wanted them to take the pictures. Their work is unique, authentic, and really captures the essence beyond the beautiful venue or dresses and suits. The wedding was just two days ago, and I already have a nice sampling of photos back, and we are all in love with them. I feel like when I look at the pictures, I am back in the moment, and the moments they captured were priceless - including vantage points I would never imagine, and important little details too. The videographer, Duncan Wilder, that partners with them sometimes is very good too. They work together seamlessly, and the end result is so good! I can't say enough good things about our experience with Lauren. We reached out to Eichar Photography for our engagement pictures and Lauren was incredibly responsive, so it was easy to set up a time and a place. Our shoot had two locations (Baker Beach and Nob Hill). Lauren met us at Baker Beach on time and she had actually arrived a bit early to scope things out, which we really appreciated. She actually found an ice cream truck and we got some cute impromptu pictures eating ice cream! She also had some great suggestions for where to take photos at Baker Beach, places that we wouldn't have otherwise known of. While taking photos, she gave us some helpful tips and direction so that we looked natural. We really enjoyed working with Lauren and it was so evident that she really cares about her clients and genuinely wants them to have a great client experience. From the start, she didn't seem to try to nickel and dime us, which was a refreshing change from some of our other experiences in the wedding industry. Our photos turned out so well and I'm so excited to share them with friends and family. Wow, where to even start with these guys! You know when you first meet someone and you start going through scenarios in your head about your future together....THAT was Jamie and Lauren! We first met Lauren when we scheduled a last minute engagement shoot while visiting SF in July to plan out our destination wedding. She graciously worked us in for a 5:30am sunrise session. The fog that morning was so heavy and put a kink in the Golden Gate Bridge photos we had originally planned, but Lauren was ready with a backup. She asked if we were down to be adventurous and hike for our photos...HECK YES! The photos that she captured were absolutely incredible and truly a work of art. I knew then and there that we had to book her for our big day in February...I even moved money around in my budget just to get the chance to work with her again! Our wedding day photos were nothing short of amazing. I had the wedding I always dreamed of, along with pictures to capture every single sweet moment. No one else could have told our story the way that they did. They were kind and supportive during our intimate first look session, wonderfully incharge during our group photos, and fun and interactive at the reception. What more could you possibly want!?
