The poutine was delicious. We had a regular, and a plant based one (for our vegetarian kiddo) and they were basically the same - plant based food has come a long way! I met the bartender 6 weeks ago for one quick chardonnay and quesadilla and returning last night (I was able to witness for free the sold out show opening ceremonies for the 2019 Special Olympics of over 1000 athletes, fiddlers, drum majors bagpippers, amazing Native Dancers welcome, and even Kallie Humphries the 3 time Olympic Canadian Medal winner bobsledder sat next to me!) for the opening ceremony for the Special Olympics and somehow the bartender remembered me and my drink. I hope her boss appreciates her, she is incredible !!!! Second floor at the McPhail Centre at Winsport (formerly called COP) - you can sit and have a delish dinner WHILE watching the hockey game or your kids practice on ice- choose to sit indoors and watch thru windows where its warm or sit right out there in the stands, its still licensed and you can still sip a beer while watching. Not sure if there's a new chef at the helm but last week the fish and chips were bad causing gastro issues for all of us and tonight the pizza was literally inedible. We want to support this local business but there are so many other places to go with much better fare. They truly should be embarrassed. We won't be giving them another chance.
