This was my first vist to Einstein Center One. To be trueful, I had never heard of it before. It was given to me as a option instead of going to Einstein main campus on Broad street in Philadelphia. Most of the time, if I need to get any tests like x-rays, mammograms etc. I would go to Elkins Park. This particular test was not done there so I chose Einstein Center One. They offer services for primary care and specialty doctors located in Northeast Philadelphia. It was easy to find and had plenty of free parking. Security was friendly, helping me find my way. I had pre registered on line, so checking in was seamless. I didn't have to wait but about 10 minutes and was called in for my study. The technician was friendly and made me feel at ease. I was out and on my way in least than a hour. I would definitely go back to the location and highly recommend it. read more

The wait time is awful! It looks like no one is working here and it takes so long for someone to just get to me.

My son was being seen here by Jane Chung in the Peds dept but she has since left the practice, which is a shame because we really liked her. Einstein Pediatrics Center One is such trash now. It takes almost an hour or more for someone to answer the scheduling line, the office is never available to take your call, the turnover rate is so high and the docs never stay, which means it takes longer and longer to get your child an appointment, it's not good for your kids to constantly have new docs all the time, and that was the last straw for us. My son needs his annual physical and we were told the next available wouldn't be until April even tho he hasn't been seen since Feb 2023. We then get a text last month saying that doc is now on FMLA and we need to reschedule. Now the next available is June 4. My child shouldn't have to wait almost 6 mos for an annual physical that should have happened Feb 2024. We are officially done here. They're trifflin as hell. read more

Ok, seriously...whoever answers the phones here needs a crash course in being professional. When I called, the woman who picked up the phone mumbled so fast I couldn't understand anything she said. I just said I needed to schedule an ultrasound and she said nothing. She just transferred me to radiology without saying she would transfer me. I seriously thought she hung up on me until the radiology department picked up. The woman I spoke to from radiology was great though. I've had a few appointments here and the doctors, nurses and staff I've met with were great which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. The parking lot is an absolute mess. The last appointment I had, there were two woman fighting over a parking spot. The spot was next to my car so naturally they were blocking me in causing me to be late returning to work. The security guard didn't seem to care too much about handling the situation properly either. There were people standing around recording the whole thing on their phones as well. Dr. Helen at Center One Family Medicine is my primary care doctor and she is great. She always takes the time to answer my questions, has an awesomely sly smile/laugh, and shakes my hand after every appointment. I no longer live in the city, but I don't want to change doctors because I want to continue to see her. However! I never wait less than 45 minutes in the waiting room, and when I'm waiting for paperwork or a referral, the office staff's first words tend to be "well, we're very busy..." and I feel like I'm bothering them for needing care. I know it can't be easy dealing with insurance companies all day and probably an overscheduled office, but it also sucks as a patient to spend hours stressing over whether your referral is going to be done in time for your emergency specialist appointment. The Center One radiology department is very busy too, but the intake staff and nurses have, in multiple visits, always been very pleasant to deal with. I've had a few administrative hold ups with them too, but they have always been good and apologetic/helpful about it. You should know that Center One has an AWFUL parking lot. I've nearly gotten into accidents in this lot multiple times, and the parking spaces are so tight that you will want to fold in your mirrors and check for dents/scratches when you get done. Once I spent 15 minutes there circling and waiting for a space to open up (and at least 5 other cars were doing the same). Overall, my experience coming here is rarely 100% smooth, but Dr. Helen makes up for it. read more

Waited over a week and a half to get a telemedicine appointment and the receptionist calls me 20 minutes before appointment and said the Dr has to reschedule. Unbelievable you cannot do a less than 10 min video exam over the phone and the Dr is new to the practice I hope this is not his typical way of treating patients. I am so disappointed in their practice of how disorganized they are from the lack of professionalism to the long wait times ie make a 9am appointment and get examined at 10. Very upset read more

I changed from my other family doctor to this one and i have to say im impressed with The doctor and staff . Doctor took the time to answer my questions and concerns . I had missed my appoinment at 10 am and they were able to reschedule the appoinment to 12:45 the same day. I would reccomend to family and friends read more

Einstein health needs accoutible billing service center to address ongoing billings disbutes to resolve the matter, they disconnect phone and keep you waiting long time, to make you go away. This is not to do business this is called sistamstic overcharging to generate revenue. Please stoooooop. read more

AWFUL front staff. Child like and unprofessional. Will answer personal phone calls while your waiting to be helped and will resort to hanging up as opposed to coming to a resolution over outdated office practices. I came here for ultrasound at the bustleton Ave location, when coming into radiology the front desk lady was very helpful, and after signing in, I was told I should of fasted the prior night after midnight. Which scheduling didn't tell me to do, after getting upset cause I been pushing this off for some time now cause I was scared that something may be wrong, I was told that rescheduling was my only option. It sunk In how much this was needed and it wasn't happening today, I leave and sit outside to let it sink in how disappointed in myself I was and at scheduling for not mentioning fasting, the actual supervisor came out to the hallway to let me know they were there to help in anyway possible, so she insisted they reschedule for me, and just by that little gesture of help, it turned my whole spirit around and made my day, it showed me how much the staff there go above and beyond for people and that no matter how bad it may seem to have hope. the GAS (which operates colonoscopy) is like a scam operation. First, the receptionist looks at my insurance information (Blue Cross Independence) says the colonoscopy is covered by the insurance and the GAS is in the network. Second, I went there for the initial visit with doctor which takes about 15 minutes charge $799 with adjustment comes to still more than $200. Third, the colonoscopy with operation room, anesthesia etc. is billed over $9000 with their fake discount comes to $750.Fourth, I heard from my insurance I still have to pay another $400. so I am essentially paying for colonoscopy around $1400, which is ridiculous! If they have told me that it is not covered, I would not have fall into the scam. read more
